I have been coming to Whistler in the summer for a number of years. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and although I sometimes switch it up and stay in the village, I keep coming back to this one again and again! Here's what I like about it: 1. Great value for large, spacious and comfortable rooms. The... More

I have now stayed at the Coast, both on my own and with friends, a total of half dozen times since my first visit in 2006 (It was actually a Marriott at that time), and I just keep going back. Being a Vancouverite, I have no desire to ever stay in the Village, far too noisy, I am just trying... More

Having stayed in Whistler Village for the Gran Fondo weekend for several years in a row, we decided to try the Whistler Blackcomb Suites. Check in was very quick, friendly and efficient. The room we had was on the back of the hotel, facing the forest, so while it was rather dark, it was very quiet and very cool (as... More

Loved the blackcomb side of Whistler/Blackcomb area. This hotel is really up the mountain, but no views. Parking onsite is overpriced. In the summer, it was easy to find parking down the street. Though it is quite a hike to/from the car. It is a quick walk or bike up/down the mountain to Blackcomb village. Room was awesome with suite... More

Figured this property could use a review from someone who's stayed here in the summer, fall and winter more years than I can count! Having stayed in probably every hotel in Whistler, the Coast (formerly the Marriott) is my favourite. Having just stayed up there for two nights, it's my oasis away from Vancouver. Big rooms, solid pool area, free... More

Full kitchen with stove, fridge, diswasher and micro-wave We had a large room with fire place No air conditioning. They provide you with a... More

The room itself was fine; a separate bedroom and a sitting area / kitchen. However, the room was very hot and no air con available. So we kept the two standing fans on for the duration of the stay. Breakfast was acceptable, a range of breads and cereals and big fat waffles if they are your thing! They weren't mine.... More

I spend a lot of days at Coast Plaza Hotels: This is a very poor example. Best to avoid this hotel. 200 word minimum. It took over 40 minutes to boo into to the hotel. The staff were not that knowledgeable about the hotel. The food was poor at best. Reporting a problem was not possible.

this hotel is located in the upper valley at whistler only 10 minutes walk to the lower village via the mountain path. there's also a free shuttle to the village every 30 minutes until 1 am. hotel needs some upgrades but for the prices you pay in whistler is worth the money. price includes decent and plentiful breakfast and nice... Our one night room rate turned out to be over $350! Sorry that's our cancellation policy. I had headed up to Whistler to check out the Coast to see if we should switch our accommodations for the summer and winter weekends including our annual ski trip. Well on first brush things looked good. I can overlook the fact that a... More
