My wife and I stayed at Le Chamois for a few nights and just loved the location. It is nestled at the base of Blackcomb mountain. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a laid back atmosphere in a quit part of town. It would be great for families with small children. The rooms are very... more

We were talked into booking the only room in the hotel with BOTH a 2 person jacuzzi & fire place in our room(platinum studio suite). We got there and find out the "fireplace" looked like a fire place but was actually a light. No heat, just a light. We then called to see if the roof top pool/hot tub was... more

We spend a fantastic weekend in Whistler at the Le Chamois Hotel. The rooms are really large and we had a one bedroom two bathroom unit, which was very nicely decorated. The hotel is really quaint and the staff are fantastic, they were very knowledgable and friendly. We had a delicious meal at La Rua and enjoyed the farmers market... more

We had a great time and the location was the key. The furnishings are a bit dated but the hotel is clean and friendly. Location is a few steps from the Blackcomb lift and in a nice area. THis side is much quieter then the Village and still an easy walk to all the resturants and shops Whistler Village has... more

One of the nicest hotels at the base of Blackcomb. The advantage of the base of Whistler is that you are closer to the main village (disadvantage for some!). It is only a couple of minutes walk apart though, so it really doesn't matter. You can access Blackcomb Mountain from the base of Whistler, but you can't access Whistler from... more

I made our reservations with the owner months in advance and was promised specific rooms. We only received one of the promised rooms upon check-in. We had specifically reserved rooms so that our two families could be close together. We ended up on different floors. The front desk was no help. The rooms were nice but don't plan on cooking... more

We did a three week tour of Rockies and West Coast of Canada and when I booked almost 12 months in advance, to my horror I realised we would be in Canada for Canada Day. So the first hotel I booked was for our stay in Whistler which was to be 30th June and 1st July. I paid CD$135 per... more

Shortly after booking my recent trip to Le Chamois Hotel in Whistler I came across a review of this hotel located on this website. It painted a very grim picture of my hotel choice and had me very worried considering we were leaving within 48 hours. However, throughout my week at Le Chamois the helpful and curtious staff managed to... more

we booked a one bedroom/2 bath unit at le chamois on a travel website for $179 night. When we checked in they put us in a 1 bdrm/1 bath unit. We called the front desk to alert them and the front desk agent said that couldn't be possible as they didn't have 1 bdrm/ 1 bath units, she actually came... more

Located in Whistler's upper village right across the Blackcomb ski lift, our double bed 'studio' room made for an excellent stay. We went in September, so can't comment on what its like during ski season. Our room included a large room, with microwave & fridge, two-person soaker tub and well kitted out bathroom, with views of Blackcomb mountain. The Upper... more
