We have stayed at this property twice this year. Our first stay was in Feb/March. We booked it on a whim, literally a day in advance in response to an advertised special. We loved Whistler as a romance destination. Upon our return booked with the Chateau for a visit the last week in June for a very well priced golf... more

The Fairmont is a great place to stay if you want to be right where all the action is. Right outside the doors is a child's paradise. Whistler Kids includes everything from a mini luge ride, to bungy swings to mini golf. My husband and I don't have kids, and even we enjoyed this area. You are just steps from... more

This was one of the best vacations we've ever had. The Chateau Whistler is a beautiful resort in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. The staff is first rate as was the room and amenities. Everything is within walking distance: Shopping, hiking trails, ski lifts, adventure tour booking stations. We can't wait to go back to Whistler, and will... more

We had a fantastic stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort. Nice rooms, delightful staff, great ambiance. Wildflower restaurant was terrific. The location is great, all the fun is right outside the door. more

Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort is typical Fairmont in that it is a grand classical building that dominates everything around it, has great service, old rooms with old amenities and may need an upgrade sooner rather than later. First, unlike several other Fairmonts, the view at this hotel is good on both sides. That is a tribute to Whistler. The hotel... more

I have been to Whistler every winter for the past three years and we change the hotel each time in our search for the best. Last time we stayed at Fairmont Chateau and the reception, food, spa, staff, location, etc were all very nice and of the expected standard. We also got a very good deal with free nights and... more

Don't go to Whistler in the off season unless you love to bike, hike, walk, jog, eat and look at snow capped mountains. The Fairmont is located in the upper village next to the Four Seasons hotel and at the base of a ski hill. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk to the lower village. The Fairmont Whistler,... more

We started a three week tour of BC off with this hotel and weren't disappointed. Large room on the Gold Floor, good view out the front of the hotel (not too much to see on the back side). Wonderful heated outdoor pool, three heated jacuzzis. large bar with live music evenings, a restaurant with an in-front ordinary service and a... more

I have stayed in this property a half dozen times in the last decade as a local just looking to escape for the weekend, and over that period it has consistently deteriorated in quality, cleanliness, service, and overall value, but my last stay there it really hit rock bottom, and they will not see me as a guest there again.... more

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in Fairmount Chateau and experienced the best time ever in Whistler. We booked the room about 3 months in advance for $190 (per night). It was a special deal for Edge Card holders. The hotel is right at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, ski in ski out in a matter of seconds. Great... more
