Hotel situated just off highway outside of town - no views. You can walk to local shops, but there are few pavements and no good crossing spots for the busy roads - you just run for it. There is not much to say about this hotel. Nice, clean, big rooms, quiet, friendly staff. The best breakfast we had in three weeks Canada with different hotels each night. Location is ok with car, mall is in walking distance, downtown in driving distance. We perfectly relaxed that night. more

We had an emergency trip to the hospital in Vernon with our 1 year old son, to cut a long story short I ended up trying to find somewhere to get some sleep at midnight. I have stayed at this hotel twice now, both times on personal vacation roadtrips for 1-night stays. The first time (2006) our room faced north, to the paved parking lot, which was ok. The 2nd time (July 2008) we faced south, looking at the empty dirt-lot behind the hotel......so that wasn't as nice of a view. Check in was good... more

I stopped overnight here traveling from Calgary to Vancouver. This is a great Holiday Inn Express to stopover. The rooms are nice and clean. We stayed in a jacuzzi room for those sore muscles after driving long. The jacuzzi did the job as well as the pool and the hot tub they have for the guest. The staff was helpful... more

Clean & staff are always friendly. Rooms can be a little on the dark side, and if you stay on the side that looks onto Hwy 97, don't try and open the window as hwy traffic can be pretty noisy. This hotel was a stop on a grand tour of the Rockies and stayed there out of necessity rather than desire to be in Vernon. I have experienced several Holiday Inns in Canada and the US and found this one to be at the level you'd expect of a Holiday Inn though my stay here was definitely a nice experience.... more

We stayed here for 6 nights in May 08. The upkeep of this facility is excellent. The exterior is well maintained and the flower planters are well groomed, there are also two fountains near the entrance way.
