We have been going to the Illahee for 12 years. We return every year because it's a little slice of heaven. The owners, Debbie and Peter, are engaging and helpful, and Peter's amazing vision has shaped the Inn from its inception. The mix of formal and informal is very appealing, and with the Povinicial Park behind it, the lake in... More

Our stay this past September at the Illahee Inn was such a pleasure. Hosts, Peter and Debbie were welcoming, very pleasant, charming, accommodating, fun to visit with and helpful with respect to sights and local services. Lake Kalamalka and the views are beautiful at the inn, the breakfasts were unique and delicious, the rooms we chose were high-end, clean, quiet... More

We were in Vernon for a family event and were looking for a quiet place to stay, away from the main highway...not easy in Vernon. We happened upon this Inn and were absolutely delighted with our stay. The weather, for September, was hot on our first day and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the deck. The room was on... More

When our daughter and her fiancée decided to get married at Kalamalka Lake we looked for a place to hold the reception. The Lakeside Illahee Inn turned out to be the perfect venue. In the spring of 2010 we checked to see what the Inn had to offer. The owner Peter Dooling was charming and helpful. Peter covered all the... More

We stopped into Illahee Inn while driving through the north Okanagan. First impressions were wonderful. The property has a wonderful view across the lake and at the end of a quiet street. The guest room was very large and clean, again with a wonderful view and private balcony (the only room with such a luxury). The bedding was substandard with... More

Travelling from Revelstoke to Kelowna via Route 6, we happened to see the signs for Illahee Inn. Got worried that we'd missed it because it's a way off the main road but got there eventually. The room was excellent with superb views over the lake and breakfast was excellent although it's a fixed menu - in other words, you get... More

The Lakeside Illahee was the perfect setting for my husband and I to recharge our batteries: gorgeous lakeside setting in BC's Okanagan wine district, very comfortable room and ensuite, huge hot tub and terrace overlooking the lake, private beach with sand or shaded lawn, free use of double kayaks to explore the magnificent Kalamalka Lake, delicious breakfasts on the balcony... We spent one night at Lakeside Illahee Inn....after driving Canada 1 from Golden with rain the entire way, it was wonderful to have a sunny evening to enjoy the Inn. Comfortable room with all necessities available and coffee served in the a.m. before breakfast. We booked to dine at the Inn too and we were the only couple on the... More

Lakeside Illahee Inn is the most beautiful Inn we have ever stayed at. We stayed in the Pacific Grand Fir Suite and it's absolutly gorgeous and very romantic! It has all the amenaties as well as a fire-place, king size bed, jaccuzzi tub (for 2) and your own private balcony overlooking the lake. Their Sunset Dining option is an exceptional... More

Hosts Peter and Debbie do an excellent job of making you feel at home! For me, it was the most wonderful Birthday surprise! I truly felt relaxed in a beautiful "oasis"! Breakfasts in the morning were also quite entertaining and absolutely delicious! Definitely the place to go for some true "R&R"..
