We recently stayed three nights at the Prestige Inn Vernon in a double queen room and were expecting more from the small-chain hotel. Upon arriving we found our room to have a very strong stale smoke odour, even though the chain prides itself on being "100 percent smoke free". Normally like the prestige, but this one was just average. Front counter staff weren't very knowledgeable. Looked like renovations were happening as well. I went there on a band trip and the hotel was nicely furnished and the staff were friendly, but.... There were several problems with the hotel: the plumbing system had low water pressure (whistling, weak shower), the toilets didnt always flush properly, the hotel seemed to have only one staff member at night, and the main fire alarm system appeared... more

The staff at the Prestige Hotel Vernon are always so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I have stayed at this property on several ocassions and have thoroughly enjoyed myself. The hotel has many amenities to suit all kinds of travelers. I will not hesitate to stay again! more
