We had the pleasure of staying in a Trout Lake upper suite. What a slice of heaven! 2x self contained master suites & third bedroom with bunks, full kitchen & 3 baths- we were very comfortable in this space. We stayed with close friends of ours, we had ample room to stretch out & we enjoyed the entire property. Big... More

Stayed 2 nights just after labor day with Wife and Parents. This is the time to go as its cheaper, still nice weather and all the tourists have taken off. We were to be in a Quary bay villa but a mistake was made and we were up near the Ponds. Was not a big deal, just less room and... More

For the price, I would have expected more. The layout of the Troutlake villas was...strange...lots of wasted space in the bedrooms that would have been better used in the living room & kitchen which was cramped..couldn't open fridge and dishwasher at the same time and the cheapest and loudest appliances I have ever heard....don't turn them on after dinner or... Overall resort is good for families. It is a 20 min drive to town which is to far. People are great. Couple things we didn't like: 1. Sat at the gate for 10 mins waiting to get in as we were not given a code. 2. No food on sit. Bring your own 3. Check in was very unpleasant. No... More

So we had 5 five families visiting The Outback in Vernon and we all loved the resort. Forest cabins are far from the lake and pools, but we just drove everyone down. Kids loved riding their bikes around the resort and did not mind all the hills. Only shadow on our holiday was Vernon Boat Rentals which is a business... More

Wow is all I can say again. We stayed here in December of 2012 for Christmas and were so impressed we came back in the summer and was not disappointed. We booked through Expedia however there was a little mix up and when I called to confirm they couldn't find my reservation. They called back and actually upgraded us to... More

We did our best to enjoy our stay at the Outback but the positives of the location and resort facilities were overwhelmed by a large number of problems we experienced during and in the aftermath of our stay. While our condo was nice with a well-appointed kitchen, not all was as advertised with only 1 1/2 bathrooms instead of 2.... More

We, a group of four adults and a teenaged brother and sister rented a three bedroom condo in this resort. It was very well appointed and located a short walk from the main beach. The resort is somewhat isolated and mainly designed for the very well heeled owners of the individual condos and houses. Only a small percentage of the... More

Our cabin was peaceful, clean and well appointed: kitchen stocked with blender, food processor and mixer. The property is beautiful: spectacular lakeside, natural landscaping, pools well maintained. Access to wicked mountain bike and running trails in the provincial park adjacent to the resort. We stayed in a cabin near the top of the resort, the hill to the lake provided... More

This truly is a magical location. This place is unmatched with breathtaking views, immaculate grounds, clean & comfortable accommodation and truly beautiful natural scenery. There is an unending list of things to do from lake side adventures, pool, tennis, hikes, bike trails or just simply relaxing in the shade. Whether it is a group of friend or families I, without...
