I've stayed at this resort 3 times over the past 5 years and it has always been an excellent stay. The units are clean, very comfortable, and quiet. The only sounds you will hear are the sounds of nature as the resort is located at the end of a long road along the lake. And nature is all around you.... More

Tucked up against a rock outcropping, with a fabulous view out to a lake....this 1600 square foot single floor +loft was an elegant, beautifully finished upscale resort destination. Huge wrap around balcony with four burner BBQ, gas fireplace, 20 foot ceiling and fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing, at the end of a picturesque winding road 20 minutes... We stayed in a forest cabin in April. The quietest cabin in the woods - at a resort. The best of both worlds. We loved it. None of the pools were open yet but we like that when no one else is around. Serene and quiet. Beautiful buildings and clean surroundings. The cabin was outfitted with everything we needed. Just... More

Our four day stay was a terrific winter getaway with all the amenities of home. You literally need only your personal items and food, everything else you need is provided (right down to the blender and salad spinner!) Our unit was large and roomy and spotlessly clean with comfortable, cozy beds and living room view of Quarry Bay. I would... More

My husband and I stayed here after school was back in session so it was really quiet at the resort. Deer would walk through the resort daily and one even visited us near our deck. The view from our deck was really nice as we had a view of the lake and would watch the beautiful sunsets. The styling of... More

We had the pleasure of staying in a Trout Lake upper suite. What a slice of heaven! 2x self contained master suites & third bedroom with bunks, full kitchen & 3 baths- we were very comfortable in this space. We stayed with close friends of ours, we had ample room to stretch out & we enjoyed the entire property. Big... More

Stayed 2 nights just after labor day with Wife and Parents. This is the time to go as its cheaper, still nice weather and all the tourists have taken off. We were to be in a Quary bay villa but a mistake was made and we were up near the Ponds. Was not a big deal, just less room and... More

For the price, I would have expected more. The layout of the Troutlake villas was...strange...lots of wasted space in the bedrooms that would have been better used in the living room & kitchen which was cramped..couldn't open fridge and dishwasher at the same time and the cheapest and loudest appliances I have ever heard....don't turn them on after dinner or... Overall resort is good for families. It is a 20 min drive to town which is to far. People are great. Couple things we didn't like: 1. Sat at the gate for 10 mins waiting to get in as we were not given a code. 2. No food on sit. Bring your own 3. Check in was very unpleasant. No... More
