My husband and I spent two nights in the Beacon Hill West Room. We had booked the McClure Room, but when we arrived, Ann said that we were the only guests for the two nights, and she thought we might really enjoy staying in a slighty larger room--we were very grateful. Ann and Derek are such gracious hosts! My fiance and I stayed here by chance a couple of summers ago. We were supposed to stay in their hotel across the parking lot and I saw the brochure for the B & B when we were checking-in so I asked if they had a room available in the B & B... more
This B & B has been totally rebuilt and just completed (June 09). It is only one block from the Parliament Building, and two blocks from downtown. Park your car (in a securely locked basement garage) and walk to everywhere! The rooms are very private, with separate entrances and below the main house. Superb quality throughout and a great breakfast.... more
My husband stayed at the Robert Porter B&B on August 8th, 2007. Ann and Derek did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcomed.
