We had to change rooms due to a maintenance issue however they were courteous and professional and we had a good stay. There is a restaurant off the and of the main floor hallway "Kitties Hideaway" it is fantastic! Amazing comfort food, huge breakfasts, don't miss it. :)

Room smells of old smoke. Bathroom:tub is stained and the sink is cracked like an eggshell. The smoke alarm is ancient, discoloured and obviously not functional (light dead). I paid over $140 for THIS?! Thanks for nothing, Expedia.

All seemd okay at the beginning, basic room, simple amenities. We didnt pay much and didnt expect much either. i could have dealt with the dirty coffe pot, broken AC, wet carpet, musty smell and general run-down atmostphere but the worst part was the management. The staff were friendly enough but the guy running the place was a cheap and... More

horrible. 2 hours late getting into room as it had been 'busy', which one would think they knew about in advance to prepare, but ok .... nowhere to go along 4 lane highway, mattress shops, defunct motels etc, except at least a health food store and a Denny's. after a long day of travel I drew the line and went... This hotel was clean and had the basics. Open internet(no security), very pleasant staff always willing to help, great price. Forgot alcohol in room and when we called back days later they said they had it and we could pick it up the next time we were in Victoria. We would stay there again. Right on the Trans Canada Highway,... More

I stayed here with my mother and brother AND my little dog! I was so glad they were pet-friendly and they were also ok for us to leave the dog alone in the room sometimes which was great. The room was clean and very big, absolutely no complaints. All of the reception staff were so helpful as this was our... More

Needs a serious room remodel. Very noisy heater. I had to turn it off to sleep. Bathroom sink was seriously cracking and mildew on the ceiling. Had a very diffcult time closing the curtains and the outside light still got in. The bed was also uncomfortable. The only positive that I was able to say is that the gentleman a... More

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Vacation Inn in Victoria for 3 nights. Our first night was the Sunday before a 7-day hike on the West Coast Trail. The location is perfect for hikers as it is within walking distance to a Canadian-Tire (across the street), and two shopping malls to purchase any last minute necessities for the... More

Do not stay here. I'll get right to the point: We had no hot water, no television, no working toilet (I had to use the toilet in another suite), and our sink didn't drain. When I asked for a refund, the manager mysteriously disappeared. I called twelve times over the course of two weeks and still no manager. I would... More

From the start this was not a good experience. We were met by the front desk person and he was extremely condescending and arrogant and tried to make passes at my partner while I was standing there. Although we booked for a king sized bed he stated that it was expedia's fault and they had no king beds in the... More
