Yes the elevator is small... and it's on a noisey street but the kindness off the staff totally make up for it...we stayed in a plain Jane room which looked to be newly renovated and had no issues! My husband and I booked this motel for one night, the last night of our vacation on Vancouver Ilsand. We stayed here over the Labour Day Weekend 1st let me say I was very pleasantly surprised that it was a hotel not a motel, with a very nice Foyer great front desk staff.
