More than we anticipated for the week we were there. We had a conference and an anniversary to attend, and Gavin was more than accommodating to help us to find our way around. The breakfast was different each morning-beautifully presented and prepared. The room was very clean with a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. more

Staying at Ambrosia B&B was a lovely experience. There was a feeling of being well-cared for, yet a respect for privacy. The room was cozy, clean, and quiet. The food was extraordinary. And, the personal touches by Gavin and Gae are too numerous to count. I would not hesitate to stay with them again. more

Gae & Gavin were very personable. My room was lovely. The highlight of my stay was the 4-course breakfast, served in a warm, professional manner. The room even had CDs to listen to. I would stay there again. It's incredibly affordable, has the conveniences of a hotel and the comfort of staying with friends. more

We were so fortunate to find this lovely bed and breakfast on our first visit to Victoria. The innkeepers were very attentive to our needs and were quite helpful when we were planning our daily activities. We also appreciated their suggestions for good restaurants and then their making the necessary reservations for us. The room in which we stayed was... more

I had found this place entirely by accident but, its -really- spectacular. Make sure the innkeepr shows you all of the rooms, every single one is a unique treat to the eyes. I stayed in the Zen room on my trip but next visit, I'm going to try one of the others. The bathrooms are simply massive and flawlessly finished.... more

Rarely will you find the combination of location, an authentic heritage feel, tasteful and modern home renovations, and customer orientation as you do at Ambrosia. I travel a great deal, and normally avoid B&B's - this is one exception. The rooms are wonderfully and thoughtfully appointed with a balance of the modern and "heritage" (no TV!) touch. The food is... more

What luck, when I discovered the wonderful Ambrosia B&B quite by accident last year. My daughter and I stayed in the Zen room, which was a special treat for us weary travellers with large jacuzzi tub and the king size bed you could get lost in. The location is a few blocks from the sparkling city of Victoria, but you... more

My partner and I were fortunate to find this absolute gem of a B&B in Victoria BC where we spent the perfect weekend. It's difficult to say what we liked best. The location is marvelous, nestled in a very nice residential area yet a short walk from both the downtown area and a lovely park with tennis courts. The house,... more
