Stayed here for two nights as part of Jetsave's Glorious Canadian Rockies tour. Well the Rockies are glorious but Jetsave's choice of hotel certainly wasn't! The Hotel is a dump, the lift does not work, the rooms are dated, shabby and I was afraid to look too closely at the standard of the cleaning! By some miracle our beds were... more

I would strongly discourage ANYONE from ever spending a night in this hotel if allof the rooms are like the two we experienced. After reading the negative reviews on this site pre-trip, we decided to go ahead and book anyways...we figured that "it can't really be THAT bad!" Were we ever wrong. The first room we were placed in had... more

Well we picked this hotel because it was close to the middle of everything and had a pool, restaurant, and a lounge. When we checked in our room wasn't ready and the person behind the desk offered us another room, I hinted that they were a little small and the view sucked, but she gave us a key to a... more

Coming into town for my mother's wedding, I very reluctantly relented and honored her request to book a couple rooms at a "budget hotel" as my grandparents were going to be paying. I don't know where to begin with what went wrong. The check-in pull up parking is cramped and in a mess. There's one elevator car, and it fits... more

Every negative review is CORRECT! I travel on business approx 12-15 times a year. Let me tell you NONE of these hotels are not kept up DIRTY! A TON OF DRUNKS! LOUD! A LACK OF SECURITY! If you like comfortable beds and I think most people that travel would like a comfortable bed, you won't want to stay here! In... more

Spent 3 weeks in Canada this summer, and checked out most of the accommodation on Tripadvisor before booking. Unfortunately relied on a guide book recommendation for the Travellers Inn City Centre. Glad we only spent one night here. The aroma of our non-smoking room suggested that previous occupants had been smokers, and it was generally dark, drab and fusty. The... more

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate all feedback we receive as it gives us a chance to get the guests perspective. I'd just like to point a few things out about our location... We pride ourselves on location and price; we are in fact only 3 blocks from chinatown and the closest hotel in the city to the Save...

I'm not even sure if it was the Downtown Traveller's Inn or the City Center Traveller's Inn that we stayed at but after reading all the other reviews it doesn't seem to matter. When we checked in it was late (10:30 or 11:00pm), and we thought that since we had picked up a brochure for the Traveller's Inn on the... more

When we arrived, they gave us a room that smelled so bad that first thing we did was to open the window. When we looked around, it made us feel quite uneasy. Carpet was not vacuumed, it was full of papers etc. Bed was made really sloppily, so when we lifted up the covers, the sheets were wrinkled with questionable... more

My husband and I made the mistake of staying at this motel. We were coming over from the lower mainland to attend a memorial service held at this facility, so we just decided to book a room for convenience. NOTE --- anybody who books these rooms for more than $59.00 for a single king bed is paying too much. The... more

I am sorry that your experience wasn't what you had hoped for and would like to try my best to put it right at the end of the day; but I must say that I find some of this review irresponsible and mis-informed. I had responded to this several months ago; but it was not posted. It sounds like on...

Booked this room through Victoria Clipper. My sister and I stayed one night in December 2007 on a Christmas shopping trip from Seattle. We found the room small but certainly liveable, clean, and the front desk people were very helpful. They stored our luggage until check-in time and were generally very pleasant. The food in the hotel's restaurant was very... more
