Extremely disappointed at capital city hotel. Never in my life have I experienced disgusting rooms, poor customer service and ignorant management. I was given two rooms both below any standards of cleanlines. My first room had no mattress protector. The mattress sheet didn't completely cover the exposed mattress. And there was stains on the blankets itself. The second room had... More

This is a very nice hotel , reasonable price, nice staff, lovely room. Very easy to locate -right on Douglas St. Would stay here again when visiting in Victorie. Parking is across the street. A nice eating place in hotel.

We arrived in the hotel and the bath tub and sink had long black hairs in it, the top sheet had stains on it, 3 out of the 6 pillow protectors were stained, dead insects on the window sill, glassware was not washed. When we complained the Guest service agent offered a room move. Upon investigation of the new room,... More

Located on the edge of downtown, you can walk to everything. The mini fridge, microwave and Keurig were handy. The Kitty Restaurant was OK and the Splash pool side Lounge was convenient for a drink.(pool was under repair and the weather too cold to be outside but looks like it could be a fun place when done). We got a... More

Recently renovated, this hotel is close to downtown Victoria on Government Street. We stayed one night on the fourth floor. Super comfortable king size bed, very clean room with the added bonus of a small microwave, 2 burner ceramic top stove, fridge, electric kettle, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, ironing board, iron and coffeemaker with complimentary coffee. Everything we would need... More

Staying for the weekend and so far, I'm very impressed with the staff and service. My room was clean and comfortable. Like the updated decor with mini fridge, microwave and Keurig! It's minutes away from the save on foods memorial centre so very convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Nicely renovated older building. Strong, private WiFi. Free parking (not covered and across the street, but a very quick walk to the hotel) . Comfy beds. Clean. Quick walk to downtown. Didn't have any issues while we were staying here. Would definitely stay here again.

We made an in-and-out two day trip from the Lower Mainland to Victoria. Found this room at a very reasonable price (everything is quite a bit more expensive a couple of blocks South). We found the room neat and our stay comfortable. We were worried at check-in when we found our room shared a wall with the lounge. If we... More
