Found this hotel to be clean and welcoming. Quality bath and soaps all from sustainable products. Friendly staff. The hotel is well located just a pleasant walk to downtown and all it has to offer. Onsite restaurant is a bit of a miss if one is a vegetarian. However next door is a White Spot which is quite acceptable.

First off I'll say that the name of this hotel may or may not be misleading based on your point of view. I would personally say that this hotel is 8-10 blocks away from the "city centre" but that very much depends on one's view of whether or not Victoria has a city centre and, if so, where it is.... This older hotel, despite a not-very-inviting front entrance, has undergone renovations and was a delightful surprise. The front desk staff were extremely helpful & friendly and allowed me a very early check in; the room, while not large, was very clean and was tastefully decorated, with a king size bed, a small but well-equiped kitchen area complete with Keurig coffee... This older hotel has been renovated with spacious rooms with King beds, great WiFi, free parking, nicely appointed rooms with fridge, micro wave, hot plate, kureig coffee maker, and great restaurant and bar downstairs. The parking is across the street and camera monitored. The location on Douglas isnt the best but neat coffee shop across the street, and Whitespot next... More

I wanted a decent hotel at a good price not too far from the Inner Harbor because I was going to walk from the hotel to the start of a half-marathon. This hotel had recently remodeled rooms and they were great. Nice little kitchen counter with microwave, stove and refrigerator. Comfortable beds. The rooms might be a bit small if... More

Don't be put off when you drive up to the hotel. The entrance is not very inviting and you have little room to park while you check-in. However, there is a large parking lot across the street, and the actual lobby is fine. The rooms are clean and well furnished, seem to be freshly renovated. Very friendly staff. What was... More

The rooms are small, but clean and with a nice modern touch. The city center is in walking distance and several restaurants are around the corner. The hotel wifi was a bit flaky. Since we stayed here directly after finishing the West Coast Trail, we we're happy to being able to use their laundromat.

The hotel has newly renovated rooms. Our room was a little small but for the price we did not mind. The bed was very comfortable the only thing was the pillows were flat. The pool area is nice and they serve food and drinks there. Everything was in walking distance and we did not need a taxi anywhere. It's a... More
