Very good location. Easy to get downtown. Staff was super friendly and helpful with a friendly family-like atmosphere. This hotel was low priced and we were just staying one night. It is a little disconcerting to drive up to -- looks like an old motel - BUT the rooms are newly remodeled, very clean and very nicely appointed, I would recommend them. We stayed at the Arbutus Inn for a weekend and found we received great value. The rooms were very clean a extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful in offering both directions and suggestions for restaurants and other ammonites that were essential in making our experience in Victoria a memorable one.
