After reading all the reviews and bed bugs and other nasty stuff we were fairly skeptical. We called and booked with a nice friendly lady and when we checked in were greeted in the same way. Check in was less than 5 minutes. If you aren't a fussy person the room was just fine. A place to put your head... More

This is a classic style motor inn right in the heart of the city! We had one of the newly renovated rooms with a very comfy king size bed. Super clean with charming decor, it provided all the amenities, including a guest laundry. We loved the way they have kept the green spaces, providing a quiet little oasis feel just... More

This hotel is super retro, as in not updated since 1970. Wood paneling everywhere, old fixtures, stained bed spread, decent carpet. Had all the amenities like coffee, toiletries and hair dryer, though the hair dryer didn't work. However, for the price it's a friendly, clean hotel in a perfect location. Everything is in walking distance, and reasonably priced since it's... More

We stayed here 1 night as a break. Didn't break the bank - used CAA discount. We got a kick out of the retro 60-70’s décor in a 2 queen bed room. Yes, the decor may be retro but it is still in good shape and looks great with wood detailing. Fast check-in/out. Good water pressure.

We stayed here a few years back after a concert and were pleasantly surprised. We booked online through a site that doesn't tell you where you are staying till you receive your confirmation. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a room in the inner courtyard. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. I have recommended it... More

This is a fabulous hotel in the middle of downtown Victoria. The rooms are clean with all the usual things. (safe, iron, fridge, tub/shower, cable TV, restaurant etc.). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food and are willing to accommodate your needs. It is within walking distance to downtown, Save On Memorial arena for shows... More

I've stayed here several times and was always pleased with the cleanliness, service and value. However it appears the place may have changed hands, because my most recent visit has turned me off completely. The first thing I noticed was that the super friendly, helpful guy who used to man the front desk was not there...the gal in his place... More

I have stayed in this Motor Inn often before, as they are reasonably conveniently located, clean, quiet, and the staff are pleasant. They also offer particularly good rates for many categories of guests. they have substantial discounts for cancer patients, Government employees* [my category], AAA members, seniors, etc. I inadvertently booked a room at what appeared to be Paul's website... We stayed here on the bottom floor. It was busy but we never heard anything once the door was closed. Was clean, basic, and we had an air conditioner which we did use as this October has been unseasonably warm. The huge bonus about this motel is the location, We parked our vehicle and walked everywhere, Great Pubs, restaurants, shopping... More
