We booked the junior suite and were satisfied with the room. The indoor pool is spacious and towels are provided. Sauna was a bonus. Would stay here again. more

We had 14 families, a total of about 40 people. Only wish we had booked more of the 1 bedroom suites for the get-togethers! Our 12 year olds LOVED having the freedom to go visit their friends. Rooms were clean and kitchens were handy. Service was friendly and prompt. The kids made good use of the pool and enjoyed playing... more

We were visiting family on the island and decided to get away on our own for one night and stay at the Travelodge Victoria. We arrived very early for check in and were told that it was not a problem to check in hours early as the room was ready. This was very much appreciated as we were travelling with... more

My family decided to try somewhere different than our normal lodgings. We picked the Travelodge and greatly disappointed. First of all, they put us on the top floor, without mentioning the place HAD NO ELEVATOR. I don't mind a little exercise, but dragging my rolling luggage up 3 staircases is not my idea of vacation. The beds were extremely uncomfortable,... more

My husband, two friends and I checked in on Friday, July 21, 2007. We were ignored at the counter for 15 minutes while the front desk clerk chatted with the cleaning staff on the phone, and another woman just stood there plugging numbers into the credit card machine. We did not receive room cleaning, clean towels, or a restock on... more

I just came back from a one night stay at this motel and feel that it does not deserve the 3 star rating given by AAA for the following reasons. 1. The place is dated notwithstanding the renovations. 2. There were spiders between the ceiling and the wall. 3. No elevator and guests have to walk and carry the luggage... more

We booked this hotel mostly for money and location. What we got for our buck was pretty good. The rooms were a pretty good size and very clean. We had a kitchenette and it came with everything you would need for making meals after busy days of sightseeing. It is also in a pretty good location ,close to downtown and shopping.... more

I stayed at the Travelodge on Gorge Road in Victoria for one night because of business. The room was clean and it was fine for the one night. If I was staying in Victoria for a longer period of time, I would want to be downtown, but it was an easy busride (7 minutes, only 1 bus) from downtown. Staff... more

Stayed here 3 nights while on a trip to buy a house in Victoria. The room was clean and though we made minimal use of the kitchenette, everything was clean and functional. The cleaning staff was friendly and efficient. We had some trouble the first night because the guests above us seemed to be holding a wrestling match at 1... more
