My son and I just got back from Victoria and we stayed at this great hotel, the staff were amazing. always greeting you when you would come in, very knowledgeable any question we had they were able to answer or get an answer for us and when we were leaving, we would have missed the airport shuttle if on the... We stay in Victoria several times each year and stay at different hotels. This time we brought our dog along. This hotel is old but well kept. The location is perfect; you can walk everywhere. The room is large and the bed comfortable. Looks lie it is time to update the towels and bedding, but it is clean. Of the... More

We brought my mother to Victoria and stayed at the Huntingdon for two nights. It was either our 5th or 6th stay I think. Love the convenience to everything in downtown Victoria. The staff was lovely to work with...always greeting us coming and going and setting us up with coffee and cookies for our first night's stay. We spent all... More

Crabby front desk staff, poor Internet connection, hotel not decorated in at least 40 years. The restaurant only has breakfast service. There are many good restaurants in short walking distance but if you are working in your room it's a pain to have to leave to grab lunch. The location is wonderful which is likely how the hotel stays in... More

The Huntingdon Hotel is so well located on Victoria's inner harbour, and an easy walk downtown or to the area museums. It's located on a quiet street, making for a good night's sleep, but not necessarily for sleeping in. It's a wood-framed building so pretty noisy, as is the plumbing (if your neighbour takes a long shower, you'll know it!... More

We received a deal via Expedia to stay here for one night. If not for the deal, it would have been so very disappointing. Beds are hard, hard, hard. Parking is a cost on top of room fee ($10.) Down spout on the rain gutter has the water splashing down onto a concrete just outside the window makes for a... More

This was a good priced hotel in a very pricey town. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful. This is an old hotel with nice charm. I was happy with the layout of my room. They were clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. I also used the laundry. It cost $1.50 cad for a load. I... More

We met family in Victoria and they had booked into this Hotel. We booked on line and saved quite a bit over the rate they were paying. This is an older hotel but it was spacious and comfortable. They held us to the 3:00 p.m. check in but that is what is advertised. The rooms were clean and cozy and... More

My daughter and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The rooms are basic with no air conditioning, but it was not needed when we stayed. It was very quiet considering we were in a city. The hotel is within walking distance... More

The hotel is definitely in need of a reno but I quite enjoyed my room. I stayed on the 3rd floor and had a partial view of the water. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Walking distance to the inner harbour. I would stay here again.
