We spent four days here last June. It was handy in so many ways. Bus service runs along the Gorge right out front. You can walk into town in about forty minutes. The bike path starts a hundred yards away. Nice quiet rooms with no air conditioning noise. Lots of free parking and a nice setting.

Stayed over during the weekend for a business trip for a few days. After I've checked out and left, I received a call from the hotel's front desk telling me that my apple ipad was found inside my room. To their credit, the staffs were really honest, and held on to my possession, and was all accommodating to my schedule.... More

Their deluxe double studio room is quite nice and big, a little dated but not bad for an overnight stay. Our room was just facing the back alley which had no view at all. Nice suite, we had a mini kitchen, fridge, stove etc. The downer is the location. When we booked it, we thought it was not that far... More

Came here with my friends from Vancouver. The front desk clerk was polite, straightforward with our concerns, and made us feel welcomed. The beds were good enough and our room was clean. We had a decent night sleep and I would recommend this hotel to my other friends, especially considering this place is rather affordable.

Rooms were not good and spacious.. Found no fridge in none of the joint rooms .. Needed to be renovated.. More light is necessary .. And at least om charging point in one room.. Charging points were in washroom only..

I enjoyed my weekend at Howard Johnson Hotel, but it was a bit far away from where I wanted to be. I have trouble walking, and the location on Gorge Road East required me to wait in cold, rainy weather to get a bus from Douglas street. The staff were friendly and helpful.

After spent 4 days in Vancouver I continued my journey to Victoria B.C. I couldn't believe my eyes when I reached the room. It was furnished with everything I kept in mind, and I felt a sentimental value when entered the room. Moreover, I was moved by a charming feeling when I walked to downtown and joined the city. In... Booked the room to attend a nearby conference. The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. It is obviously an old hotel and the hallways has a charming feeling. The pool was not very warm (but not too cold either) and I remember previously it had a hot tub - that has now been filled in. Felt secure having... More
