Stayed at the Bedford Regency in August and really enjoyed the stay. The room was more of a suite with a front sitting room that had a couch, huge flat screen tv, fridge, mini library and a wood burning fireplace with wood and matches all set for you to use. Half way down the hall was the bathroom with an... More

This place has such a great location. It is fairly close to the ferry docks and easy to find. It is right in the heart of Government St. and Downtown. I thought we might have a problem with noise since its so close to everything but we didn't! Although the rooms are pretty small, they had a mini fridge and... More

The hotel lobby can use a little T.L.C It's outdated and has a little run down appearance to it. However, they had a very nice coffee shop to one side of the lobby. The rooms were nice and specious with a Victorian decor. The location is great and for the price it is a good deal.

We booked this hotel for the location and price. The location is great, hotel is nice and rooms look good. But I didnt sleep at all really during my stay. The beds are not great at all. The hotel advertise's free coffee and newspaper, got the paper but no coffee. We were told we have to leave the flyer out. But... More

I stayed here with my brother for a night and the location was great. The rooms are really shabby and the noise level of the downtown area could be a little loud for the light sleepers. There is no breakfast and the parking is 4 blocks away with limited access to the lot and you have to pay? omg how... More

My husband and I planned a weekend getaway to Victoria for my 25th birthday. We arrived on Friday, and left Sunday afternoon. As we arrived, and the doors of the elevator opened on to our floor we were greeted by an overwhelming smell of urine! I can't understand how an entire floor can smell like pee...but it did! We found... More

An older hotel located across the street from Victoria's downtown shopping centre and around the corner for its Bastion Square, a short walk to the Empress, Parliament Buildings and Provincial Museum and surrounded by restaurants. Not your basic North American hotel; more like the small to medium establishments one finds in England - a commercial building converted into a hotel.... More

We stayed at the Bedford Regency for 2 nights just this week. The location is perfect. You are right in the heart of downtown within walking distance to everything. You are about a 5 minute walk to the harbour and surrounded by quaint tourist shops and cafes. The only thing that was a bit too far was a grocery store;... More

The location of the hotel cannot be beat at all. You are right in the heart of downtown, literally steps away from Bastion square (come out turn left, there it is). The property feels more like an old set of apartments than a traditional hotel and in my mind that's a very good thing. It felt like the property had... More

Upon arrival clerk welcome was awful, even not good evening, just "give me your last name", inexpresive staff. Rooms need an urgent refurbish. Attached a picture taken right now in our room showing that our bed passed maid´s approval...terrible. Avoid this hotel.
