This was such a lovely quiet place to spend to long weekend. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were super tasty and the free muffins were a nice touch. The rooms don't have TVs but you can use the share lounge or bring your lap top and use their wireless. More

We have stayed here numerous times due to its proximity to our relatives' home. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the stairs are creaky (which can be quaint or irritating, depending on your perspective). My gripe is really with the breakfast menu, which hasn't changed since our last visit. I'm sorry, a choice between Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine... More

If you have never been to Oak Bay , Victoria, BC go there as quickly as you can as it is charming and largely unchanged from 1912 when this charming Guest House was built. Derek and his wife bought the place 4 years ago and have updated and transformed it into a wonderfully comfortable place to use as a base... More

Our recent stay at the Oak Bay Guest House was the best home-away-from-home experience we've ever had. (Combined, the four of us have 282 years of experience!) The ambiance of the house is charming, comfortable, and relaxed, and the owners and staff are even more so. Since I'm a night-owl, I especially appreciated the upstairs sunroom where I could read,... We stayed here just for one night during our 2 night visit to Victoria. We were offered a very warm and friendly welcome. Our twin room was perfect and the private bathroom was very clean and serviceable despite looking slightly old. We were informed of all the guest facilities, including a sun room with tea and coffee etc available but... More

We had a great stay at the Oak Bay Guest House. The house is absolutely charming. Built in 1912 and added onto in 1922 to be an Inn, this house is definitely period perfect and demonstrates the architecture of the time. Our suite was very reasonably priced with a sitting room, large bedroom and a private bath. We slept soundly... More

We were given a very warm welcome by Egle, and found the house to be charming and very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and very substantial, and we were even given muffins to take with us. The garden is lovely and we spent a relaxing hour soaking up the sunshine. The sun room was a great meeting place for our group... More

We were very lucky to book this B&B for our recent stay in Victoria, BC. We stayed there for 5 nights and loved it very much; the house is beautiful and so are the rooms. The breakfast was just outstanding, all different and delicious every day. I can absolutely recommend this B&B! You won't be disappointed. I will be back... More

Quite by accident this was our second stay at Oak Bay Guest House. The last time was 22 years ago when we visited Victoria with our son on his 21st birthday, but we forgot the name, so we used Trip Advisor to find some options. After I settled on OBGH, my wife looked at the pictures and recognized the dining... More
