Came to Victoria with some girl friends and it was great. We have a full on appartment and there were beds for everyone. The location was great, walking distance to EVERYTHING but still quiet. more

We spent two nights at the Royal Scot with our two pre-schoolers. The location and price made it hard to beat. We love having a suite so we can put the kids to bed and still be able to move around/watch TV until we're ready to sleep. The rooms were large, and the kitchen fully equipped. There's a gift shop... more

After staying in tiny hotel rooms over the years I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Royal Scot. I've put off travelling because my husband and I have 4 young boys ages, 10, 7, 5 and 3. I found tripadvisor and thought I'd give a hotel with some of the better reviews a try. We we're so pleased.... more

Picked this place for a thanksgiving getaway based on the glowing reviews here. It reminded me of staying in an old apartment in need of some renovation, not a hotel. The room had a tiny desk area with no AC plug nearby. The internet connection was next to the phone on a small coffee table in the living room and... more

We were for adults and I booked this hotel through Expedia... we booked a one bedroom suite and we got the 3rd night free. It was just superbe, the location was fabulous close to everything... hotel people just great, fantastic service... fresh apple free everyday. The suite had a Kitchenet and a closed bedroom and a hide away bed queen.... more

We've stayed at the Royal Scot hotel twice and have enjoyed it both times. The location cuoldn't be better for those arriving via ferry - it's about a 1-2 minute walk from the dock to the hotel. The street the hotel is on is tree lined and peaceful, and there are some great dining options nearby. It's an easy walsk... more

We stayed here for a night at the tail end of a Thanksgiving Break trip to Seattle, Washington. After taking the ferry up to Victoria (during which we had to turn around halfway through due to a medical emergency, so the trip took about 2 hours than necessary), we found it relatively quick and easy to find the Royal Scot... more

The main things that attracted us to this hotel were location and reputation according to reviews on Trip Advisor. We read about the old fashioned style decor and didn't think this would be much of an issue, believing this to mean more homely than the sterile style of business hotels. However we have been so disappointed with our experience that... more

There isn't much to add to the 177 previous reviews. This is a great property in a great location. It easily fulfilled our expectations and we will be returning. Good value for the price paid. What more could one want? more
