We booked this hotel via Canadian Affair in the UK. This resulted in a delightful stay with a very comfortable room and a brilliant view of Victoria Harbour. Downtown is easily accessible on foot and reception were most helpful in issuing a map of jogging routes. The restaurant menu was intriguing and had many different twists to the normally found... My husband and I went for two nights. We found the room very nice and the bathroom was really great. I did book a room asking for a great view and although the view was nice the balcony looks across the roof which rather lacked any charm! We were on the 2nd floor, so each floor rooms are recessed, all... More

Hi PennyU, Thank you for posting your review of our downtown Victoria Hotel. The timing of your insight on the roof that extends past your balcony is perfect as we are currently looking at opportunities to jazz that roof top up. Thanks for mentioning. Super happy that you enjoyed your AURA experience too. Keep us in mind for your next... More

I've stayed here numerous times, often taking advantage of room sales in the off-season. Staff are universally friendly and location excellent. The Erickson Wing is superlative but rooms in the rest of the hotel also fine. Ours this stay had a beautiful view of the harbour.

Good morning RT, Thanks so much for posting your review. We are truly honoured to be your hotel of choice when you are in Victoria and over the moon that you love our staff as much as we do! Sorry to hear that you found the elevator traffic a little noisy - tough to avoid I suppose with a full... More

We stayed here as a splurge versus other less expensive Victoria hotels. After waiting 20 minutes for our room (even though we arrived nearly an hour after the posted check-in time), we were surprised to be given a room with chipped furniture, marks on the wall, tears in the drapes, and covered with dust. There were flies in the room,... More

Hi TonyTonto, So sorry to learn that your experience here at the Inn was sub-par. I know how disappointing it can be when you have planned for a getaway and it wasn't all that you had hoped for. Our team is anxious to have a look at the room you occupied but without a proper name we can't. If you... More

The Inn at Laurel Point was a very nice change from the large, impersonal Vancouver hotel we had spent the previous 3 nights. It is a relatively small, top quality hotel set in very attractive grounds, with good views of the harbour. It is located a few minutes stroll from the centre of Victoria, and was therefore very convenient as... More

Nice motel in great location - only a 10inute walk to town. Large room with lounge chairs and a great view. Wi-Fi included plus fridge. Another tricky shower mechanism (they are all different!). Staff very accommodating. Only a 5 minute walk to Orca Spirit Adventures which were fantastic. Seafood Chowder at nearby Days Inn was great. Brekkie was lovely. All... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in July ‘14. Though a bit pricey it is an excellent hotel and worth the splurge. We had an inner harbour view room on the 4th floor. This class of room is the mid-level category and was perfectly fine for us. It has a “standing” balcony with a beautiful view of... More

We have used other hotels in the area thinking we were saving money but having a good night's sleep is important. The food in the dining room is very nicely presented. We have changed from other hotels and use this one exclusively now when we are in Victoria. It is also a place to proudly meet our friends. Love this... More

Service was good. We had a clean and comfortable room. We faced the outer harbor, we were in room 328, which looked out over the roof of the lower floor - when you looked past that the view was nice. Had some friends from Europe traveling with us and needed a couple rooms w/ double beds. This hotel is quite close to the Victoria Clipper terminal - easily walked w/ a couple wheeled suitcases. Hotel was clean, very quiet. Pillows were too fluffy so I substituted a towel. We reserved a harbor view but got a peek a boo view... More
