Totally misleading photos in advertisement below average dining room uncomfortable beds shabby sheets and blankets peeling paint in the bathroom and a towel bar and shelf that literally fell off the wall. This hotel needs a major refurbishing but the price does not reflect this. more

We just wanted a basic, cheap hotel, and we walked into this one and made a reservation. We weren't expecting a whole lot, as we only paid about $85 for the night, but even for that, the room was clean, king size bed, spacious room, and kitchenette. If you're going to Victoria for the hotel experience, avoid this hotel, as... more

I stayed in room 217 for 3 nights. The view off the tiny balcony was of a large parking lot behind the hotel. I found the room to be quiet and clean, the staff was friendly and the rates were reasonable (about 65.00 per night). My favorite amenity at the Embassy Inn was the water pressure in the shower. It... more

My six year old daughter and I just finished a 5 day visit to Victoria. We chose this Hotel/Motel with the help of the Visitor Center. This property is very much family friendly and my daughter and I had a blast. They have a heated swimming pool that I couldn't get her to come out of. Additionally, you couldn't ask... more

Great Location by the harbor, nice facilities but the lock on our room could be opened in seconds with a credit card, we had to take our valuables with us when left. This is why they received a two star, we had no other issues with the hotel. The Harbor; Lots of vagrants and pan handlers in the Victoria harbor... more

We stayed at the Embassy Inn in Victoria, BC overnight just this weekend. VALUE: The hotel is a decent price whih is why we chose it. (We paid $150 for a large room with full kitchen amenities- which we didn't need or request) When checking out, the concierge had a list of pending departures and the prices people had paid... more

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions over the years. It consists of two sections, an old and a new. We have always stayed in the old section as the price is quite reasonable. The old section rooms are just that, old. Having said that however the rooms are spotlessly clean and in excellent order. The... more

Hotel is split in two. The newer part, the tower, looks really nice but we were in the old annexe. This is really shabby and like staying at Butlins. The accomodation was clean but really dated. Heating was ancient and so were windows. Bathroom window had no blind or curtains so had to shower in the dark. Victoria is really... more

I stayed in Victoria Sept 21 - 24 2007. We stayed at the Embassy inn. There is a discount for first time guests. I don't think I would stay there again without the discount. The discount rooms are in the old part of the hotel. Creaky floors, paper-thin walls, old smelling and smallish room. The room was clean though with... more

The hotel is excellent for the not so fuzzy traveller. The beds are a little bit hard in our room but that is our only complaint. We asked if we could check in earlier than usual and we were pleasantly surprised that they already arranged for this. The lady at the counter was so friendly and helpful. The location is... more
