Our second stay and I love this little hotel! Everyone is always pleasant and helpful. This time our room on the 4th floor had a nice view of City Hall and the chimes from the clock were neat. We heard the trucks in the morning, but nothing obnoxious. I would highly recommend staying there. The breakfast muffins are killer and... More

I stayed at Hotel Rialto for a quick overnight trip to Victoria and couldn't be happier with the experience. The hotel has been beautifully restored. My "room" was really a large suite, spotlessly clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It had a lovely apartment style kitchenette with granite countertop and all the amenities. Unfortunately I was there long enough to make... More

Fantastic boutique hotel. We have stayed at what many call the "best" boutique hotel in Victoria and we found Hotel Rialto to be better than it in many ways and therefore we will now choose to stay at the Hotel Rialto every time we visit Victoria. We have also stayed at a few of the major big hotels in Victoria... More

The room was comfortable and a good size, with a charming view of the building across the street. The Rialto was walking distance to most of our destinations: the Inner Harbour, museums, Chinatown, and the Black Ball ferry that brought me across from Pt. Angeles. The staff is very professional, courteous, and helpful. My daughter and I enjoyed the complimentary... More

Very pleasant experience . Friendly staff; room clean, recently updated and comfortable. Terrific breakfasts in the hotel restaurant . Street noise minimal; only minor issue was a clock tower across the street that threw in light at night that the curtains didn't fully block out. Would stay at again. Only actual issue I felt important is that there was no... More

Stayed here for two nights. Having never been to Victoria, booked on the price and location. We have not been disappointed. Location is within walking distance of everything in town. Free upgrade when we arrived, vouchers for free or discounted breakfast and a complimentary cheese platter provided by the loveliest lady made us feel pleased with our choice. The rest... More

I stay at the Rialto every time I visit Victoria. With upgraded rooms and a few perks, it's the best value for staying in the heart of downtown. Other similar hotels can be up to twice the price. This trip stood out because of the great customer service of the front desk agent, Maureen. She was extremely helpful and proactive... More

Without knowing anything about hotels in Victoria, we booked the room based on location and price, and we are very plaeased with the choice. All downtown locations are within walking distance, and the staff at the reception as well as the restaurant was kind and helpful. Got a very nice and quiet room on the back side with absolutely no... More

Don't you love it when you "roll the dice" and it all works out? Thats the way I like to travel as well. I seek out smaller independent properties because I know, when they are good...they tend to be great. However, there is always a risk. We understand (and appreciate) our customers "take that risk" when they book with us..... More

Pluses: Over two nights and parts of three days, The Rialto continued to hit the spot on a number of levels. The service was second to none. The room was very clean (my wife checks closely) and very nicely appointed...(one of these years, I'm gonna install heated flooring in MY bathroom). Tried the breakfast in the cafe the first morning.... More

Booked a room on Internet, and we were kindly given an upgrade when we arrived. Very clean rooms, not big, but very clean. Even the walls looked clean, and recently painted!?! No chairs to sit in economy rooms, but that's the usual for hotels now. Bed was very clean and comfortable. Located in easy walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf if... More
