This was my first time to Victoria in a long long time and my first B&B, so let that color how much my opinion matters in those areas. First Impression - the house is perfectly situated at the end of the island, overlooking the coast and the Puget Sound with the Olympic peninsula off in the distance. The nearby walking... More

WOW!! Ocean views and quiet brought us back to Dashwood. The same BUT different in so many wonderful ways. Michael and David have transformed the manor with too many meticulously wonderful personal touches to mention. Impeccable attention to detail to create a warm, casually elegant experience for guests. From the moment you arrive to pulling up the so soft and... More

David is a great host, and Cora was lovely and served us a fantastic breakfast. The location is wonderful - right on the Strait, and very close to a great walking path along the water. David helped us choreograph a perfect evening with tips on where to walk, where to eat, and what to see. A really good find.

My wife and I stayed for three nights in June and had a marvellous time. The B&B is right by the sea and within easy walking distance into town. The rooms were very nice and cosy, the hosts very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Dorset room and had fantastic views of the sea from our balcony. There was... More

We stayed in the Camelot room on the third floor for 3 nights for a "babymoon." Gorgeous ocean view! We slept very well, I used the provided earplugs to help. Breakfast was delicious and very filling! Great location across from the ocean, Beacon Hill Park and shops and restaurants of Cook Street. Not far to downtown either. We rented a... More

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and we couldn't be more pleased. We stayed on the third floor and the view of the ocean from our private balcony was amazing. Our room was clean and the made-to-order breakfast was delicious. David, Michael, and Kora took wonderful care of us. The location is perfect and close enough to... More

This was the last stop on a trip we had planned to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We were looking for something relaxing and picturesque but close to a city center. This bed and breakfast was exactly what we needed. The property is an early 20th century home with stained glass and wood paneling as you would expect to find. The... More

Going by the reviews we expected to be happy here.We were not disappointed for Dashwood Manor lived up to its reputation. It is convenient with a short walk through the park to the city. The building is interesting as it is about a hundred years old which gives a solid feeling to the place. We were given a room with a superb sea...
