The staff here is top notch, super attentive. The Hotel rooms are clean and spacious. The music from the Pub was a little loud one night, and we could hear it in our room. A call to the front desk solved that. There is fresh coffee and fruit just off the Hotel Lobby for guests in the morning. Nick, Hugh... More

Swans is a local landmark hotel and brewpub and we've been coming here since before we moved to Victoria 20 some years ago. We have always enjoyed the ambience, sometimes the food and usually the beer. Their musical taste however has always been a sore point and has often taken away from our enjoyment. In times past my wife and... More

The art hung in each room expresses the wide tastes of the collector. The suites have 2 floors with plenty of room for relaxed entertaining, simple meals for two and views of the harbor. Do avoid rooms over the pub, the bass notes my move you. We have stayed in a number of rooms furthest from the pub and love... More

The good points - Convenient location Comfortable bed and settee Adequate kitchen The bad points - The place was very dark indeed and even the electric lights were not very bright. There was little or no ventilation, only a skylight in the bedroom and a French door onto an enclosed balcony. When the skylight in the bedroom or the French... More

Popped into this pub on a rainy afternoon and sat in the glass covered veranda which was bright and away from the TVs. Tasty beer - try the Berry Ale - and the seafood chowder was silky smooth and full of seafood. Typical pub prices and decent service!

We stayed at the hotel while visiting Victoria with friends we hadn't seen for several years. The rooms were large, very comfortable and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the Blues Band that played in the evening was great. Most of the rock and rollers on the dance floor were mature... More

We did not stay at the hotel, but we had dinner in the Brewpub during our honeymoon trip in 2011. We got dressed up and we got a table in the section of the restaurant that's kind of an outside area but still inside the building: with many windows, kind of like a greenhouse section. There is also an area... More

A cozy and comfortable space, though by no means small, decorated by Northwest coast Indian art. Our lunch, from the blackened halibut sandwich, black and blue burger and crispy onion rings, delicious. The Canadian Cabernet pleased my wife more than the California variety. My Swan ESB was nectar of the gods. A must stop in Victoria.

I have been staying at the Swans Hotel every time I come to Victoria for the last 20 years. Great staff at the pub and my favourite bartenders Andrew and Rickey. Angela at the front desk is the greatest. She always makes sure you have the right room for your visit. I highly recommend staying while your in Victoria. Make... More

I really like my stay at this hotel. You are downtown so you have to expect some noise and can walk pretty much anywhere. Parking is a block away from the hotel. I don't think this a place for a family with small children. My room was very nice and clean. During my stay I enjoyed the band and the... More
