Having read the mixed reviews, I was unsure of booking this place, but it was a good location for us. I am very glad to have discovered this gem The staff were courteous and friendly check in was prompt We stayed in Room 5 in the heritage guesthouse, which was both charming and authentic The room was a little small,... more

Rooms: We stayed 2 nights in the Heritage Guest House, room 3. We booked this room because we'd heard room 4 (the cheapest) is small. Room 3 is a nice double room with a separate bathroom with shower over the jetted bath. The furniture is an eclectic collection of antique/old stuff, the room was cosy and big enough for 2... more

Stayed at Spinnakers in October 2007 for three nights. Booked room #3 in the Heritage House section and was not at all disappointed in my choice of rooms. Check in went smoothly and was able to get into the room earlier than check in at 3pm.During check in, the Inn staff ensure that you are asked when you would like... more

There are a few places I've stayed that I honestly would love to live. This is one of them. I wish I lived in one of the rooms at their fantastic guesthouse! The rooms are tastefully decorated and inviting, with great features like stained glass windows, an old victrola, and a beautiful rainshower tub. The flowers around the place are... more

The Pub at Spinnaker's is delightful...We ate a meal there everyday for four days during our vacation. I thoroughly enjoyed working my way through their menu and my husband loved their beers on tap. The breakfast basket they prepared for us every morning was such a nice treat. If only the room itself had been as nice as everything else.... more

On the recommendation of the tourist board assistant we booked in to this Inn On viewing the website I am amazed at the photos Our room? was tiny with what was supposedly filtered views of the harbour torn shower curtain and blind hanging off . Our only view was a transport yard and to add insult to injury the breakfast... more

we enjoyed a tasty meal, and brew at the restaurant, didn't know there was a guesthouse til we were on our way out. Ate lamb shank, great organic field green salads, wild salmon cakes, a tasty extra bitter ale, and fresh berry desert, while watching the harbor, it's right on it, with walking/running trail to keep your eyes busy, or... more

We had three enjoyable days at Spinnakers in May 2006. Our accommodations were located two doors up the street from the main Spinnaker's facility. Across the street there is a small truck depot which did have some activity in the morning - but it was not enough to be annoying or obnoxious. There is also an active rail line up... more

A little getaway weekend ...We throughly enjoyed the room .More than comfortable, the fireplace was great for night 1 and the jacuzzi topped off night 2. The staff are delightfully helpful and courteous.Food was sumptious and beautiful presentation. We found the room to be quiet at night considering the closeness to downtown.Breakfast to the room was great.Definitely a great adult getaway nest!... more
