This B and B is a gem! Located near Cook Street Village, within walking distance of most everything downtown Victoria, it is a quaint, beautiful old house decorated with antiques. When we told our host, Alan, that it was our honeymoon, he upgraded us to the Beaconsfield Suite on the top floor, with our own little entryway and great views!!... More

I travel a great deal and decided to take a few days for some quite rest and relaxation away from my hectic life. I couldn't have made a better choice than the Beaconsfield Inn. From the great breakfasts in the morning to the Sherry at night I was blown away. My room was perfect with a comfortable bed and the... More

Wonderful, friendly, accommodating host, clean, romantic room, lovely breakfast and easy walking to the sights of Victoria. Arland went out of his way to accommodate us after we arrived, only to realize that I had booked us on the wrong weekend. He was quick to find us an available room and made us very comfortable. We would definitely stay here... More

Wow, what a beautiful experience it was to pull up to this Victorian Mansion. The flowers in the garden were so bright, it was like walking into a dream. We stayed in my most favourite suite: the Parlour. Everything from the time we checked in until we left was completely 1st class! So clean and every little detail was taken... More

A B&B just three blocks from downtown Victoria, with all the restaurants and attractions that Victoria has to offer. Can't beat that, right? The thing is, you might not want to leave the property. It is housed in a stately mansion, with a light-filled conservatory and dark paneled library (with 6 pm sherry and treats). It's far enough from the... More

My sister and I stayed at the Beaconsfield Inn for a weekend away in May 2015. It was my second time visiting this beautiful Bed and Breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is always delicious (cheers to the chef) and the library is a wonderful place... More

The Beaconsfield Inn is a gem in the heart of Victoria. Just three blocks from the Inner Harbor, this historic colonial is a fantastic value for the price. The staff was exceptional, making my wife and I feel welcome. The building itself makes you feel like you're staying in an old mansion. There's even a formal library that served Sherry.... More

My husband, sixteen year old daughter and myself spent 5 days in Victoria and we would definitely stay at the Beaconsfield Inn again. The location was in a quiet neighbourhood less than a 10 minute walk from the inner harbour. We had the Gatekeeper's suite with its own entrance and a little, private courtyard. There was a bedroom with two... More

It was beyond what we expected. We immediately fell in love with the place and but especially Arland, the manager of the inn, who felt like our long lost friend. He is just a prince of a guy. Very attentive, helpful and full of information. The Inn is beautiful, just as the pictures depict. Our room was lovely and beds... More

The building lived up to its photo images - apparently it was built in 1905 for the mayor of Victoria. We were given the Duchess's room which overlooked the front and side, had a real fireplace which we couldn't resist trying, and a bathroom out of the Addams family - all gloomy wood panelling but full of character. Over our... More
