We stayed here one night for our anniversary. It was very comfortable and quaint. The innkeeper was very friendly and helpful getting our dining reservations for the evening? We were within walking distance to the restaurant and the waterfront (Royal Museum, Empress Hotel, Legislative Buildings, Visitors Center). Enjoyed the English breakfast in the morning.

Due to a scheduling mixup with the ferry my wife and I arrived after 11:30 PM and Arland was there to greet us. We had a very long traveling day and he went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of us. The rooms and food were great as was the location. We had a wonderful trip... More

Just spent a night in the Duchess room at this beautiful property. The property and rooms were very attractive and comfortable, but as previously mentioned the gardens needed a bit of work. Sherry and Tea/Coffee available in the library, but no hot water when I went to make a cup of tea. Breakfast nice, but no choices. New manager polite... More

9/2014 Staying here was disappointing. The grounds are uncared for, the pots had dying plants. What has happened to the gardener? Inside staff & cook very nice. Definately looks like management has forgotten that the outside greets & invites us in...We had a few ants in our room too. Breakfast great but will look elsewhere until it gets the attention... Stayed here only for a one night stay while visiting Victoria. Very welcoming, with a nice feel about the place. Was staying with my sister and we both enjoyed! Room was great, lovely comfy bed, pillows and doona. Getting back at 6.00 for a sherry was a nice touch as well as a few more little touches, coffee and tea... More

My wife and I stayed at the Beaconsfield Inn about two weeks ago and are glad that we did. We enjoyed the inn and the spacious room that we had on the ground floor. Warren was a gracious host and helped us with suggestions as to how we could really enjoy our visit. He also has a special arrangement with... More

Close to the harbor and many attractions make this a delightful and convenient place to stay. The large jacuzzi in the suite was a big plus after a long day. Breakfast was "gourmet" but we were surprised there were no choices. My husband is British and was looking forward to eggs, etc., not so keen on pancakes. I have many... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the beautiful Beaconsfield Inn in Victoria. This 1904 exquisitely decorated house offers spacious suites, a library where you can drink tea or sherry, delicious breakfasts. Gary and Warren are generous and informative hosts, tending to our every need. The Inn is walking distance to Beacon Hill Park, the ocean, and other downtown... More

This was our first time at Beaconsfield Inn and our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast. Three nights and three days and we certainly were spoiled my the generosity, friendly and informative staff. Upon arrival, the staff upgraded our room due to flooding in the one we had reserved. To our delight, the room was spectacular. Goose-down comforters,... More

We had 2 nights here and the breakfasts are fantastic although if we were staying longer I would be worrying about my waistline! Nothing was too much trouble for Gary and Warren and they helped us with booking a whale watching tour for the kids. The inn is within easy walking distance of downtown and we had the gate keepers...
