This Bed and Breakfast is a large home/mansion with many guest rooms of various sizes. They encourage guests to look at unoccupied rooms which are left open and unlocked. During the course of our stay, most rooms became available and I had the opportunity to check them out. All the rooms I saw were quite nice with similar amenities. Some... more

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully maintained and cosy inn. Our room was beautiful. Very comfortable with lovely comforters and tastefully decorated with antique furniture. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was superb. Was wonderful to come back to the inn and sit in the warm and cosy library after a day of touring Victoria and have warm... more

My husband and our 13 year old daughter stayed at the Beaconsfield Inn for three nights on our summer vacation and were charmed by its history and elegance but never felt like it was stuffy or old. The warm cookies in the library when we arrived were a big hit. The breakfasts were amazing and the service impeccable. We stayed... more

This was a beautifully kept english style b&b. We especially enjoyed the special touches such as freshly baked cookies in the afternoon and sherry in the library in the evening! We were in walking distance to all the shopping and restaurants. Some of the larger shrubs outside, appeared dead and in need of replacement, which would make the entry even... more

This was our first B&B experience. We stayed in the Gatekeepers Suite as a family. I don't think I have slept in a more comfortable bed anywhere in Canada or the United States; the bedding is lovely. The cozy library has lots of reading material, sherry and fresh cookies, tea and coffee--it was our favorite room. The breakfasts were excellent... more

The Beaconsfield Inn helped make our visit to this beautiful city even more enjoyable. You can stay in a secluded quiet neighborhood while being just a short stroll to the heart of Victoria. The facility is historic and beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were memorable. A taste of Victoria served in a gratious manner. A visit to be remembered and hopefully repeated... more

i can't ask for more.. the staff were really accommodating, the place was cozy. All the guests were welcomed warmly. I was able to maximize my relaxation time with my husband and my family. It was worth the trip from Edmonton. So on your next trip to B.C., don't fail to check out this B&B. IT's simply one of the... more

I stayed at Beaconsfield Inn with my daughter who is 23 and a friend of my daughter's. Not only was the room fabulous, bed extremely comfortable, but we had the most interesting people (other guests)gather in the library and talked until the wee hours. This morning the staff was gracious enough to extend our check out time because we wanted... more
