Charming hotel in a convenient location that really goes the extra mile, very friendly staff and great attention to detail. Amazing bed linen!! Our room was small but very clean and well equipped. Great bathroom. Overall, very deserving of #1 spot, would return here again and again!

We both loved this hotel. The facility is beautiful. Our room was small, cozy, and quite comfortable. The staff did everything they could to accommodate our needs. They made all the difference. Great location near the city center and the waterfront. They had the best breakfasts of our trip. Their complimentary evening reception was exceptional. One night they even had live... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this hotel. Excellent service, excellent food and excellent bedding. Breakfast was outstanding and the appetizers were great. We had one of the less expensive rooms, but we loved it. Very spacious if you don't mind a smaller shower, which we did not. Handy location. Easy walk downtown.

Quiet residential setting yet so well placed to walk into Victoria city centre. Room was of an excellent size as was the bathroom with a wonderful roll top bath. Staff excellent and most helpful. Evening appetisers very good. Bar service friendly. Breakfast plentiful. Building very traditional but service up to date.

If I could give this a 6, I would :-D I LOVED this hotel. It was easy to find and conveniently located for a short walk to downtown Victoria. Staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The lobby, dining room and library areas were charming and comfortable, and the library was a lovely... More

My wife and I LOVED this hotel. We had one of the less expensive rooms, and it was still very very nice. It was very well located to the harbor area. Bed was fantastic. Breakfast was tremendous. They change the breakfast menu every morning and then we got choices on the type - sweet, savory, etc. Can't go wrong with... More

Most beautiful and sweet stay of my trip to bc!! The breakfast was amazing! The bed soo comfortable and the staff was so sweet. Definitely recommend! Only problem is I left my own pillow :( would be amazing if it showed up at my home :) can't fault this wonderful hotel for my forgetfulness though!! 5 out of 5 stars!

Beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, awesome accommodating staff chef, quaint and cozy. We ended a very busy week long trip through BC with our stay at Abigail's hotel and it was the perfect place to relax and wind down! It offered the cozy, traditional British feel we were looking for and was very classy!

Ideally located a short walk from Victoria waterfront and restaurants, this small hotel is architecturally charming and in step with Victoria in general - not a high rise, cold corporate hotel. The staff were extremely helpful in arranging local tours, restaurant reservations, etc. The hotel has its own talented chef who turns out marvelous breakfasts, baked goods and evening bites.... Breakfast (included) and evening appetizers were incredibly good. On our last morning, I chose a "clear apple crisp" that I told the chef was probably the best thing I will eat this year. During our 3-day stay, the complimentary appetizers included roasted figs with toppings, a cold fruit soup and a black bean hummus with house-made crackers. Our room was... More
