An absolutely delightful small hotel in the heart of downtown Victoria! Old world charm mixed with modern service and a great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was outstanding. We will definitely come back here.

My husband and I travel A LOT, and we love to stay in B&Bs. We chose Abigail's Hotel based on the ranking and reviews from TripAdvisor, and it did not disappoint. The building itself is so charming on the outside. The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The hotel and rooms are just gorgeous. From the moment I stepped... More

We have stayed here twice, and both times we hada lovely stay. The rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is incredible. It's a short walk to restaurants and the heart of Victoria, but feels like it's far-removed. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, I highly recommend it.

Stay here. Their Social Hour from 5 - 6 pm is worth attending as the foods they offer are absolutely top notch. The night we stayed, they offered split pea soup, deviled eggs, crusted albacore squares, cheeses, grapes and crackers. They also offer a variety of beers, wines and spirits available for purchase. We slept in the Foxglove Room, which... More

Abigail's is a very special place. From the professional, discreet and attentive staff to the scrumptious food and charming rooms, Abigail's is very likely your next home away from home when visiting Victoria. We loved being just off the beaten path and in more of a residential area. We walked almost everywhere; many of Victoria's best restaurants and shops are... More

It's a little tricky to find because of one way streets and the fact it's tucked away at the end of street. Once you find it, you'll want to extend your stay. Our room was plush and charming with a large modern bathroom, great tub. The breakfast menu changes everyday and the chef is right thru an open window by... More

We loved Abigail's Hotel! For the first time since our daughter was born (3 years) my wife and I took three days alone ... and this was the perfect place. Everything is wrapped in a sophisticated old-world charm, wonderfully authentic and very well-maintained. The staff (who all seemed to be about 18) were exceptionally courteous, friendly and helpful ... and... More

While it was built in the 1930’s, Abigail’s is all about turn-of-the-century Victorian charm. And, to top off the Holiday Season, the property was beautifully decorated inside and out for Christmas. The building is well-appointed, magnificently maintained and VERY quiet, inside and out. The lobby is ‘ground’ level and the twenty-three guest rooms are located on the upper three floors.... More

Wow! What a great place to stay. We were there in early December so everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was lovely, with a large bathroom and a fireplace. The hotel has a very comfortable common area/library and breakfast room. There were several different choices for breakfast each morning and a varied and plentiful selection of appetizers in... I booked one night in the Canterbury Bell room on the top corner of the hotel, and the next night in a suite in the Fairmont Empress, so I could have a nice small place and then the big grand luxurious place the final night as a grand finale. The Fairmont was nice and regal and everything, but it come... More
