We loved it here & could have stayed longer. We got an excellent price through Clipper Vacations for a Gold Room and it had everything we wanted except a view of the harbour which was quite a bit extra & we didn't think it was worth it.. Sailed up to visit the Grand Dame of Victoria. It did not disappoint. High tea is unparalleled. Visit to the Bouchart Gardens. What more could one ask for ? My 80 year old mother was thrilled! more

This was my first time actually staying at the Empress. I loved it! Its such a well preserved hotel. Very charming and historical. We walked through most of it including the Empress Archives. The room was small and I missed having a closet to hang things in but the high ceilings and ambience made up for that. It felt large.... more
