This is a budget hotel centrally located near the train station and tourist bus routes. It is a walk up with no elevator nor anyone to assist. They take a C$150 deposit in cash or on card in case you lose the key or mess up the room. lots of restaurants and 7 elevans nearby. Free coffee between 9 and... More

Read bad reviews about this place but we had a pleasant stay. Booked online and got a good price. Great location very near coffee shops and places to eat. Also within walking distance of anywhere in downtown area and easy access to airport via sky train. Hotel itself was very quiet and is halfway between hostel and hotel with shared... More

It was a nightmare, staying at the Ambassador note in Vancouver. Its location seems central and cool, but it's very dangerous for small crimes. The hotel charged me for more nights I spent. Its price is not fair. Warning.

Cheap considering the great location on Granville St, a few blocks away from the party scene so it doesn't get too noisy at night. Rooms were small but a good enough place to crash for the night at a reasonable price

The hotel, while old, is comfortable to stay in and convenient. The city is within easy walking distance, there are plenty of food outlets surrounding the hotel with the IGA grocery stores about 5 minutes walk away. The buses run past the door on Granville street and the Skytrain Station takes about 10 minutes to walk to - only $1.75... More

We had horrible stay in this hotel since we had bed bugs in our room and we still have to deal with consequences! Moreover, when we reported this problem to staff, the guy didn't show any understanding and although he changed our room (we got next door room because all other rooms were busy!!!) he looked like it was funny... Can't really complain, half way between a hotel and a hostel with room service which is great. We had a great time here the beds were really comfy and the tv had decent channels The only tiny thing is that the bathrooms are at the end of the corridor so it's awkward at night but it's not really an issue... If you don't want to catch scabies then do not go to this hotel! Myself and 9 friends stayed at this hotel for 8 nights for spring break. During the stay we thought it was a good hotel for the money. There are shared private bathrooms and two additional toilets. This didn't bother us too much as we are used... More

Great little hotel, well-priced.... the perfect place for locals to 'get a room', if you know what I mean (when there's no privacy to be had at home) and the rooms/beds were surprisingly good. Only problem : had to walk down to the end of the hall to use a shared bathroom.... not always fun at 3am, but I guess,... More

A cute hotel that's close to so much! The staff is friendly and the beds are SO comfortable. You share a bathroom, but that was no big deal for us and we never had to wait on the toilet or shower. The hotel is close to a bunch of restaurants and shops, and only a few blocks from the Sky... More
