I was really excited when I found this online and I thought I had made a good choice. I was very wrong. This hotel/hostel is located right across the street from a very loud club. My room was on the second floor but facing the street. It was so loud and I got very little sleep. It didn't finally wind... More

I stayed with my boyfriend only for 1 night when we just arrived to Vancouver. The girl at the reception was very nice and we were happy with the location being in downtown. I think is even bit pricy for what it is but apparently the cheapest of the city. The cleanless was average, and the shower I think they... More

It was a clean and renovated hotel. I would definitely recommend it if you're only staying for one or two nights as you don't have your own bathroom. There is a shared kitchen which could be nice for people on a budget. I didn't have any problems with anyone or anything, overall I can't complain about my stay. There was... More

Hotel was a 10min walk uphill or so from railway. Check in was ok for my one night stay. Room is just that, no bathroom. Had a very strong disinfectant smell, which I soon became accustomed to. I guess the bathroom is a very long way down the hallway from my room. Coffee is provided in kitchen area down the... More

Pros: good location, a lot of restaurants/ bars nearby, yoga studios nearby, WIFI Cons: no AC, hard to find street parking, single stall community bathroom for guests (the restroom was two, long hallways away from my room) FYI: no elevator, minimal parking in back of hotel (have to pay for a spot), sink/ mirror in rooms, standing fans available upon... The lady receptionist working tonight, August 18, 2014 @ 2100 is very rude. She must not have realized that we are paying guests at this hotel. The one bathroom to 20 units set-up I don't care, but I will never let any rudeness slip by. My friends and I just got back from touring around vancouver and when we were... More

I booked 2 nights (single bed room) at the Ambassador Hotel in March, 2014. When I arrived there, the customer service gave me an upgrade to a king size bed room for free. The bedroom was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the custome service was perfect. They were very helpful. I'll book again a bedroom in this... More

This is a budget hotel centrally located near the train station and tourist bus routes. It is a walk up with no elevator nor anyone to assist. They take a C$150 deposit in cash or on card in case you lose the key or mess up the room. lots of restaurants and 7 elevans nearby. Free coffee between 9 and... More

Read bad reviews about this place but we had a pleasant stay. Booked online and got a good price. Great location very near coffee shops and places to eat. Also within walking distance of anywhere in downtown area and easy access to airport via sky train. Hotel itself was very quiet and is halfway between hostel and hotel with shared... More

It was a nightmare, staying at the Ambassador note in Vancouver. Its location seems central and cool, but it's very dangerous for small crimes. The hotel charged me for more nights I spent. Its price is not fair. Warning.
