Great location, easily accessible to Vancouver attractions, without being in the centre of town. Particularly well located for shabbat observers. Decor is "auld Dublin". Room was very comfortable and extremely clean. Breakfast was perfect and beautifully served. The highlight is the owner, Helen Carton, who made us feel welcome and relaxed in her lovely home.

This is one if the best little B&B's I've ever stayed at. There are only two guest bedrooms so it's nice and private. It's an old heritage home very close to VGH & BCCH and the owners keep it immaculate. The bed was very welcoming and the private bathroom is perfect. Breakfast was amazing. Eggs, mushrooms, hashbrowns,English muffins, toast, fresh fruit salad,yogurt,... More

I stayed for an evening recently. Leaving the airport, it was a quick sky train to City Hall and a brief bus ride on the #17. Upon arriving earlier than the expected check in time, Helen the owner graciously welcomed me in to my beautifully appointed room in a lovely older character home. I stayed in the Blue room and... This is not a B & B like some with an absent owner or a manager, the owner lives there and it has just 2 bedrooms, we had the garden room, stayed 6 nights and found Helen very helpful. She offered to do some washing for us and gave us directions to a Laundromat within walking distance for our heavier... More

We stayed 2 nights in the 'garden room' which was a decent size and had a nice window seat that we could rest our luggage on top of. The garden room was quite warm, if not hot when we arrived. We found the room to be dusty in some places, the bathroon was not as clean as we would have... More

We stayed with Helen for a few nights on our way back to the UK. The garden room we stayed in was peaceful and pretty, with a nice window seat for relaxing. Helen is incredibly welcoming and hospitable and provides great breakfasts of fresh fruit and cooked options - we hardly needed any lunch!

We stayed for three nights in Helens B&B. It a very charming house and really nice rooms. The Breakfast is very good and Helen is also a charming and helpful host. Four Blocks away is a street with lots of restaurant and shops, so you can find all what you need. The next Skytrain station is about 10 minutes away.... More

If you've had the good fortune to visit Ireland you probably recall the abundance of hospitality that has made the island so famous. Nowhere is that more genuinely felt than in Ireland's B&Bs. Helen has managed to transport that very spirit to a beautiful neighborhood in Vancouver. Her home is very well appointed, comfortable and beautiful. The best part of... More
