We stayed here prior to a cruise. The rooms were nicely decorated and roomy. The owner lived next door and fixed breakfast. There were 3 couples and we had the run of the place. Nice patio in the back. Would stay here again. Within walking distance of Stanley Park.

We stayed at the Corkscrew Inn for four nights and loved it! The place is superb and very well managed by Karen. She prepared a wonderful breakfast every morning, that will fill you for the day (should it not be sufficient, fresh fruit and cookies are available!). Karen was also of great help for our visits of Vancouver. The Inn... More

We had a lovely stay with you at The Corkscrew Inn during this year Academy of Management annual conference for business school professors. Wayne is a smashing host and he and his wife have created a beautifully decorated masterpiece with most imaginable creature comforts and modern facilities, which was a pleasure to share for a couple of days, and nights.... Thank you for your insightful review. We like to see our guests making good use of outdoor areas; the south veranda is a pleasant "meeting room." With luck your travels will bring you back to Kitsilano when your time is not all devoted to convention activities! More

We stayed in the Edwardian room at the Corkscrew Inn for four nights. The Inn is in a quiet part of the city but handy to public transport, shops, supermarket and some great walking and cycling tracks which are close to the water and beaches. The B&B has loads of character and charm. Each suite has an individual look and... More

Love the house; completely redone but with enormous authenticity for Arts & Crafts style. Lots of activity on Fourth Avenue. Close to fireworks and downtown, but quiet at night. Easy access by bus to UBC. Great staff.

My husband and I stayed in the Edwardian room for 3 nights in mid June. The room was lovely and well laid out with every detail considered and a very comfortable bed! The house itself is beautifully restored and in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. I especially loved the front and back access to the beautiful veranda and well maintained garden,... More

My husband & I stayed here in early June 2015 for about 6 days. We had the Edwardian room which was pretty, comfortable and very clean which pretty much describes the whole house. Karen does a great job managing the place. She has put a lot of thought and effort into providing all the items and information that a guest... More

In 1970 my wife and I honeymooned in Vancouver, BC, on our way across Canada. This time, we did not even revisit downtown Vancouver or North Vancouver where our motel was. We stayed at the Corkscrew Inn for three nights and explored the Kitsilano area of the city. After a short walking tour south of the Inn, we found all... More

We stayed at the Corkscrew Inn from July 3 to 6th, it was a great place to start our trip to Canada from NZ. I would advise having a car if you don't like relying on buses. The breakfasts are delicious, and the hosts more than helpful on places to go etc. the rooms are very well appointed, and the... More

This gorgeous inn has stained glass windows all over the place, comfortable furniture, and a pretty garden. The innkeepers (Karen and Wayne) are friendly and helpful. I stayed for a week. Breakfasts (different every day! ranging from cream-cheese-stuffed French toast to lemon-ricotta pancakes to egg-stuffed peppers to quiche, often with sausage or bacon for the meat-eaters) were both delicious and...
