My husband & I stayed here in early June 2015 for about 6 days. We had the Edwardian room which was pretty, comfortable and very clean which pretty much describes the whole house. Karen does a great job managing the place. She has put a lot of thought and effort into providing all the items and information that a guest... More

In 1970 my wife and I honeymooned in Vancouver, BC, on our way across Canada. This time, we did not even revisit downtown Vancouver or North Vancouver where our motel was. We stayed at the Corkscrew Inn for three nights and explored the Kitsilano area of the city. After a short walking tour south of the Inn, we found all... More

We stayed at the Corkscrew Inn from July 3 to 6th, it was a great place to start our trip to Canada from NZ. I would advise having a car if you don't like relying on buses. The breakfasts are delicious, and the hosts more than helpful on places to go etc. the rooms are very well appointed, and the... More

This gorgeous inn has stained glass windows all over the place, comfortable furniture, and a pretty garden. The innkeepers (Karen and Wayne) are friendly and helpful. I stayed for a week. Breakfasts (different every day! ranging from cream-cheese-stuffed French toast to lemon-ricotta pancakes to egg-stuffed peppers to quiche, often with sausage or bacon for the meat-eaters) were both delicious and... On arriving after 25 hours of travelling, we were, met, introduced to our slippers, and guided to our room All the usual facilities were available and we had a pleasant patio to the rear. The owner proudly collects corkscrews and has amassed a considerable and valuable collection. Breakfast is an event with guests sharing a dining table. An interesting cooked... More

Although the Corkscrew generally requires a 3 night stay (which is understandable) we were able to stay for the one night we tarried in Vancouver on this trip. This is an amazing B&B and a beautiful old house. The owner has done a wonderful job of restoration, complete with fabulous woodwork and stained glass windows. We were warmly greeted by... More

I absolutely loved staying in the Inn. The neighbourhood is safe and the Inn is only 1/2 block to 2 blocks away from major bus routes. I was taking classes on Granville Island and was able to catch one of three various bus options and between busing and walking, was able to be there within 20 minutes or less. My... More

My husband and I were guests at the Corkscrew Inn for several nights recently and we really loved it – in fact I think it may have been one of the very nicest, if not THE nicest B&B we’ve ever stayed at. The experience begins with the physical setting. There is a book on their coffee table that shows in... More

It was barely an in and out stay for us so I cannot actually say much about the place but whatever experience we had there was perfect enough to leave a good impression on me and my wife. Rooms were comfortable neat and affordable and they even served us a good early breakfast before vacating. For what we stayed, it... More

My fiancé and I stayed here in August for about 3 nights, I believe in the Arizona room (downstairs below the kitchen). We really enjoyed the arts and crafts/art nouveau details and interior, the very comfy bed, nice bath, good location, yummy breakfast. Since we stayed downstairs from the main living quarters, we appreciated the fact that guests were wearing... More
