We had a pleasant stay at the Corkscrew while attending a UBC convocation, we brought my mother who stayed on the main floor while we stayed on the ground level. If you want privacy and quiet in the morning remember to ask for a room other then the one that is opposite the breakfast area. The breakfast was lovely, and... more

I have travelled N. America and Europe for 20 years....The Corkscrew Inn is the best anywhere! Karen, the hostess/chef is fabulous. Beautiful century home, amazing collection of antiques, great location. I will be sorry if they do not have a room available when I book my next trip to Vancouver. Mark more

I recently stayed at the Corkscrew Inn while travelling on Business in Vancouver. The Edwardian room is a very economic alternative to a downtown hotel, with excellent access to public transportation - not to mention an absolutely charming house with very friendly and helpful innkeepers (Karen is a wealth of knowledge for bus routes)! The location is also perfect for... more

The Corkscrew Inn is one of a kind in Vancouver. The rooms are beautiful and the hosts are fabulous. The location is convenient, close to the beach and shopping, but it is within a quiet neighbourhood. This B & B beats any hotel experience in the City. There is a really unique collection of antiques and stained glass everywhere. We'll... more

My wife and I were in Vancouver last week and stayed at the Corkscrew Inn. We travel a lot for my business and always try to stay at B&B's whenever possible. Our experience at the Corkscrew Inn was wonderful, and we would certainly go back. The B&B is a charming Arts and Crafts home built in 1912 and recently restored.... more

If you like to stay in places that are as comfortable as home, only better, than the Corkscrew Inn would be the place for you. It is located in quirky Kitsilano which is a very laid back neighbourhood that is close to everything. A 5 minute walk out the front door and you can be running along the waterfront or... more

My second stay at the Corkscrew Inn rivaled my first. I can not get enough of the quiet, beautiful Inn and its surrounding neighborhood. From its convenient location, I walk everywhere in Vancouver, but I truly love hanging out right in the Inn and it's surrounding few blocks- exciting shopping, stunning views, amazing restaurants, friendly people. I so enjoy visiting... more

There are chain hotels like Best Western, Hilton, Sheraton etc. and there are the "Boutique' hotels that really stand out. In the world of B&B the Corkscrew Inn is certainly boutique. Not a spare room in someone's house but a five bedroom, five star experience at B&B prices. Totally renovated to provide all the luxurious comforts, essentials and so much... more
