After travelling Alberta & BC for three weeks we spent some wonderful days in the great city of Vancouver, a city with the perfect combination of hip citylife and all the possibilities the ocean and the surrounding mountains have to offer. Amazing views of both of them can be had from the pictureperfect balconies on different sides of the impressive... more

I recently stayed at Casa Mora for 7 nights in the Garden Suite and enjoyed a really comfortable bed, a superbly clean suite with all the conveniences including high speed wireless internet. This vacation rental unit has everything one could possibly ask for including a private phone line, access to an amazing hot tub in the garden which I used... more

We enjoyed enormously our stay at Casa Mora. It was our first experience staying at a bed & breakfast and we didn’t regret it: from now on, that will be our choice for our travels. On top of a great, cozy house, we made two new friends, Mariette and Neville. They entertained us with their stories of travels around the... more

I stayed at Casa Mora on the 4th of 4 summer trips to Vancouver. I was searching, and thanks to Trip Advisor, found a place near the University, with fast transit to the downtown. I booked the Magnolia Room as I didn't need the luxury nor the total privacy of the Penthouse Suite. I did tour the Penthouse with its... more

After receiving my credit card bill and being reminded of this bad experience, I felt compelled to share my experiences with others regarding Casa Mora. Although I agree the location is excellent and meals were good, I was not at all surprised to hear some extremely negative responses regarding the hosts. It is true that the owners have a weighty... more

Our "information" (in large font with huge photos and containing 90% tourist information which is usually applauded by our guests) does contain a few basic fules -- no smoking, n0 shoes inside --- for hygene reasons and in keeping with what is customary in Vancouver in nearly all homes, keep the noise down after 11 p.m. (not bad for 6...

I have mixed feelings about my stay at Casa Mora, but I'm positive that I will not be staying there again. PROS: Great residential neighborhood with quality restaurants and interesting shops within walking distance. Lovely garden (which we didn't spend any time in). Healthy breakfasts. Comfortable bed and a sizeable bathroom. CONS: The Magnolia Room (where we stayed) is right... more

It is the rare guest who doesn't use the opportunity to enjoy our exotic garden! Telling!! It is also the rare guest who doesn't enjoy the use of our common room, which indeed we may have used briefly ourselves at the end of a long day. The Magnolia Room is separated from the kitchen by 2 rooms & 2 doors...

I just finished a two week stay in Casa Mora's Penthouse while teaching a summer course at UBC. It was a wonderful stay--clean, comfortable, beautiful surroundings, airy, bright, great views. The sunlight pours in all day long. The hosts are helpful and accomodating. Transportation on buses caught just two blocks away was easy and convenient. The several blocks of stores,... more

This is a delightful B&B, where you're more part of the family than a guest. We stayed in the Magnolia Room, which was cosy with a very clean and stylish en suite bathroom. The peaceful neighbourhood combined with a firm and comfortable bed meant we 'slept for Scotland'. The atmosphere is tranquil: you're out of the city centre, surrounded by... more

Vancouver's Point Grey is a great spot to stay near the city centre and we really enjoyed staying at Casa Mora in the Magnolia Room. The room was attractive and very comfortable. The host and hostess were very helpful and willingly spent a good deal of time helping us track down the highlights of the city such that we were... more

The house is lovely and artful but I had a really bad experience at the this inn when I stayed there and I would warn visitors to be careful about complaining to the hosts when things do not go well. The Magnolia Room is very tiny, the web page does not show that, so just be aware of that when... more
