The hotel is very cozy and clean, you can feel that place is taken care of. Everyone is very helpful and attentive, rooms are spacious and bright. Was really surprised that lunch table in the room was set with all dinner supplies with wine glasses. At front desk they explained me that now most of the rooms will look like... More

Nice front desk person. Room clean, quiet and with the tv and kitchen, a big help. Close to downtown and all the restaurants and even Safeway up the road. The bed is always made up and the bathroom clean.

This hotel location was very excellent. They near everything in downtown vancouver. Hotel very hot because no air conditioning, had fan in room. Also no escalator in hotel. We enjoyed our stay lots, will come back next time.

excellent seervice, the receptionist is very kind and helpful, thank you. I liked staying here although the Hotel feels like it's very new and still getting going. I was though genuinely very impressed by the warmth, helpfulness and welcome of the staff throughout my stay for what seems like a new Hotel, so well done to the Hotel management on getting... More

I work at a hotel on the Island as a front desk agent, and I've been doing this position for almost two years now. So I have experience. But this hotel was horrible! It was not just about the actual building itself, but the service we received. The Hotel did not have A/C- which is fine since it is a... More

We picked this hotel randomly (especially since we had never been to Vancouver before). And we really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived, we were greeted with happy staff (she did mention that she was in training, which is why it took a little longer). The building is older and the bathroom showed its age, but overall clean and tidy.... More

Needed room, plane to Ottawa next am. Booked online, made error-they would not refund nights that would not even be there. 90 deg in room. NO response to 4 emails for refund, told by front desk to do.

Hello Sharon, We appreciate your feedback and would like to apologize for the weather. Vancouver and much of North America has been hit with a heat wave. Normally it is not this hot. Unfortunately your reservation was non-refundable. Our non-refundable rate is a great option for our guests to get a great deal, which secures and guarantees the room for... More

The Greenbrier Hotel is a few blocks away from the seawall and about a 15 min. walk to Stanley park. It is also close to a number of shops and restaurants along Robson street. The room we rented was clean and had a nice kitchenette. However there was no air conditioning in the building, so we had to leave the... More

Orbitz assured us that our dog was allowed only to arrive and be met with a barrage of negativity. We were told by the receptionist that no animals were allowed,"not even a spider". We spent our first 4 hours finding a dog sitter. That cost $120. Our kitchen had two glasses, no plates, spoons or pans. It took 45 minutes... More

Hi Gary, We appreciate your time and feedback. At check-in, you were made aware, agreed and signed our no pet policy. And after our staff saw your dog running around the property, you were re-reminded again about our strict no pet policy... no matter how cute they are (please send our love to your Havanese dog). We only accept service... More

If you're looking for a cheap place to stay in Vancouver this is a good choice. It is walking distance to the SkyTrain, the waterfront, shopping, fast food and a grocery store. The room is dated but comes with a full kitchen and an eating area, so it's a great way to save money. The windows are old and you... More
