Staff very cheerful and accommodating, totally. Can't say enough about them. 100% Hotel suites huge....we had one bedroom apt. close to desk...large and very comfortable. Titch noisy and hot, but with fan they supplied it was wonderful. One of the best vacations I have ever had thanks to staff suggestions and location. Definitely not a 5 star, but a heck... More

Very nice older hotel, stayed on 3rd floor, very spacious suite with full kitchen and separate bedroom it was more of an apartment than a hotel Staff was friendly and very attentive Close to shops and restaurants Two negatives - room was a little musty smelling and no screens on the windows which really was nothing to complain about as... The hotel itself is very good. However the breakfast is terrible. There are stores like Market basket where you can buy food or you can go to the waterfront for a much better breakfast. The room was very big and in an apartment. Unfortunately the bedroom didn't have a window but the living room in the apartment did. It's in... More

This hotel is a hidden gem, they have a great and helpful international staff. Rooms were spacious and warm (but I always say better warm than cold), we had to leave the windows open a little and asked for a fan, but not an issue at all :)

We stayed at this hotel based on a close friends suggestion, when we were going to attend a concert downtown. We LOVED it. Staff were great, location perfect, housekeeping really good. It's one of those places that feels very comfortable, home like. Will be visiting these guys next time we need an accommodation downtown vancouver.

Great location close to all the attractions, beaches, parks, shops and city. Rooms are spacious but are a little tired. The self contained rooms should be fully equipped with utensils, crockery and cutlery but instead you have to ask for these. In summer the rooms are way too hot and air conditioning would be a welcome addition. Breakfast is included.... More

Good hotel for the price. We were there for a 5-night stay. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient, right on Robson Street with plenty of restaurants to choose from and not a long walk to the heart of downtown. Public buses stops nearby and across the street is the Big Bus tour pickup... More

Generally speaking, this is a pretty decent place. Very clean and my room had a great amount of space (bedroom, living room, small kitchen). The main problem is that I had no control over the temperature as the entire building is on the same system. I had to keep the windows open just to keep the temperature decent, but then... More

Great location, nice staff and comfortable room. However, NOTE: the hotel is old and has no elevator; people with heavy luggage, if they can not get room on the ground floor, will have serious problems. Except this, nothing to complain about.

We arrived late in the day and took a cab from the Airport to the Hotel, be prepared for an expensive ride. Our room was on the 2nd floor and they don't have elevators. We were carrying luggage for a 3 week stay in Alaska and had to carry it up the stairs. The management, bless them, offered to help... More
