Great location in Yaletown, eclectic decor--- the staff really went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. They were constantly looking for ways to enhance our stay--- incredible level of personalized service!

Perfect location - Yaletown has literally hundred bars and restautants within walking distance. Reminded me of San Francisco. Hotel is great - nice balance between cool and what you actually need in a hotel. Great bed and decor that reminds you youre not in a chain. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Opus for three nights in the middle of August. Firstly the hotel has an excellent location. We have stayed in the West End and found that to be great also, but here gives you a slightly different perspective on Vancouver, in the perhaps more 'trendy' Yaletown area. It is surrounded by good cafes, restaurants and clubs,... More

At the check-in we were greeted with a glass of prosecco to enjoy in the lobby. The restaurant and bar were great and the location was fantastic with 40 restaurant/ bars it seemed within 3 square blocks! Loved it!

The hotel was fabulous, beautiful and most comfortable, clean with a very courteous and accommodating staff. In addition to beautiful decor, shower amenities, ice water brought to your room every afternoon, we had a lovely courtyard view. The best part was the beautiful complimentary continental breakfast filled with all you can eat fruit, cereals, yogurt with all the trimmings buffet... More

Pricey, but worth it. It may be comparable to 'downtown' hotels but so much better! Right in Yaletown neighborhood across from the Transit station. Two stops to the Waterfront! The hotel is gorgeous, funky, colorful. Clerks were friendly and upgraded us due to our use of tripadvisor to find them. Sheets were fabulous and everything just lovely. Breakfast was overpriced... My boyfriend and I went here for a 4 day weekend for my birthday and we LOVED it! The staff treated us like family and the rooms were very nice. Everyday I got new flowers which I loved and the staff always gave great recommendations! The one who really helped us the most was Pat. We felt like he was... More

The Opus met all our expectations and then some. It was a great base for our four day, three night Vancouver adventure. The location is key, right in Yaletown for plenty of restaurants and bars, Starbucks across the street and a market two blocks south. It was convenient to the sea wall and Granville Island. They have free bikes if... More

Wow! First trip to Vancouver and after a lot of research found out that Opus is fantastic. Toby met us as we parked in front and within minutes we were checked in. The staff is very accommodating and helpful with recommendations. They definitely are paying attention to the small details. Rooms are stylish and super clean. Beds are comfortable and... More

When we arrived, a TV crew were in the entrance hall, filming, which made registration a bit awkward (and quiet). The staff were very helpful though. Complimentary breakfast was offered for the disruption but, unfortunately, that turned out to be for the previous morning so our disruption was not rewarded. That aside, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Very... More
