I loved my stay. I was in town for one night for business but the location is super convenient, staff very hospitable and amenities are clean and updated. Bonus was the gas fireplace and awesome tub in my room! The in house restaurant and bar are great as well.

Lovely hotel. Helpful service. Incredibly relaxing stay. Thank you! I particularly enjoyed the heated bathroom floors. And the room was outfitted with all the things I wanted — coffee/tea, iphone charging outlets, great shampoo / conditioner / lotion. My only two complaints: 1) It was confusing that the continental breakfast was only for guests who'd chosen it ahead of time.... More

We did a little getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday and found Opus. From the moment we pulled up the service was exemplary. They greeted us by our car, took our bags, gave the pup a treat, and poured two glasses of presseco as we checked in. That night we decided that we wanted a tub so we requested the... More

I stayed at the Opus for five nights on business and was very pleased with the staff's hospitality, the finish and cleanliness of the hotel and the room, and the location. Amenities are very close, including the Skytrain station right across the street, Starbucks beside it and the Sea Wall just over a block away at the bottom of Davie... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for a dual birthday/girls trip. There were 8 of us in total and all of us are still talking about how amazing this hotel and service was. When we first arrived - we were greeted by two very friendly girls behind the desk. Throughout the 3 nights we stayed - we had exceptional service... More

I've recently stayed here for a girlfriend's birthday outing in Vancouver. The first thing I have to mention was the friendly front desk staff who were willing to accommodate a couple requests with a hassle free attitude. Thanks for making our stay that much better! Was down in Vancouver for a weekend stay at the beautiful Opus Hotel - everything was amazing from Friday through Sunday. Some of the best food I've ever had in the restaurant and the lounge provides a upbeat vibe that can't be beat! Located in the heart of Yaletown; shopping, nightlife and entertainment is all close by. The staff was... More

This was a quick wekend trip to Van for a getaway. We loved the hotel for its location and the Haida art as we got off the elevator in the hotel. The restaurant "FABLE" is located inside the hotel and serves fabulous "locavore"eats.

Staying in Yaletown & False Creek North

Neighborhood Profile
Yaletown & False Creek North
Yaletown has risen from the ashes of its rough-and-tumble industrial past into one of Vancouver's new chicest neighbourhoods. The place responsible for originating of the phrase 'skid row' might not call to mind independently-owned boutiques and terraced cafes, but having swallowed the waterfront lines of False Creek North, the resulting amalgamation transformed the area into an elegant, stylish hotspot with a view. Its youthful vibe owes to the many young families and young professionals who live there, bolstering nightlife and restaurant variety along its cobbled streets. It is the flagship neighbourhood for modern revitalization, and the It-Spot for boutique hotels and modish eats.
