This hotel was a great lower cost option for staying in Downtown Vancouver. It is located in walking distance or a short cab ride to most places within downtown. The free breakfast was a plus and quite good, especially the waffles that you could make on your own. The rooms were small, but newly renovated, including a flat screen TV.... more

We stayed here for 3 nights, and had the cheap Queen bedroom - everything was nice and clean. It was nothing fancy, but perfect for what we wanted. The room was very small - only enough room for the bed, some furniture, and enough room to walk around, but it was fine. The bed was comfortable and bedding ok. The... more

Very cute decor and great location. Staff was helpful and friendly. Clean rooms. Our room was very small, but we booked a "One Queen Bed" room at a discounted rate. It was perfect for what we were using it for, which was sleeping, but if you're planning to spend a lot of time in your room, invest in a larger... more

I stayed at the hotel from a Thursday to Saturday. The rooms were surprisngly large and well decorated. Unfortunately the design of the lobby makes it difficult to carry up large luggage because there are no ramps to roll up so you have to carry all your bags up the short flights of stairs. The only other problem I had... more

If you want to stay in the middle of everything, and not spend a load of cash, this is it. However, if you're squeamish about the grittiness of urban nightlife--you may want to reconsider staying here. It's not a business hotel, it's not a family hotel. There's no doubt about your security once you are inside the hotel, and the... more

We just returned from a five night stay at the Comfort Inn Downtown. The hotel was in a convenient location - we walked everywhere in the downtown area and only used our car for trips outside the city We did not feel that the neighborhood outside the hotel was unsafe, but it was definitely LOUD. Even my college age sons remarked... more

Stayed here on two occasions of 2 nights each. The hotel messed up the agent's booking and gave us a smoking room rather than non-smoking. After a significant amount of complaining, we were offered another quad room which was barely big enough to swing a cat let alone 4 people. After further complaining they promised us VIP treatment for the... more

We stayed at the Downtown Comfort Inn New Year's weekend. We chose it because of the great location for walking everywhere. They are very centrally located, there is a parking lot next door which is only $12.50 per day and it was quite an inexpensive hotel. We were trying to save a little money since we had spent so much... more

The best thing about this hotel is the location. You can walk to every interesting part in the city, we even walked to Stanley Park. The rooms are quite small but our luggage for three weeks Canada did fit in. We did not hear any noise from the bar or the street, the isolation was good enough. Breakfast was great,... more
