We first stayed at Bosman because of the price and the location. We were going to the Grey Cup in 2005 and decided on the Bosman in spite of some the negative reviews we had read. We were 4 adults going to a football game and going to be doing a lot of drinking and some the negative things in... more

We stayed here for the last 3 days of our holiday in Canada to see the sights of Vancouver which we had previously seen only on a daily basis. Very close to downtown Vancouver. Room was adequate, bathroom clean, maid service great. Our only complaint would be the receptionist dressed in black, he will know who he is. I asked... more

We were pretty desperate to stay at the Bosmans - I was very hesitant after reading all the bad reviews but our cash was running low and we needed a place for 5 nights before we could move into our apartment. We checked into room 330 and were given a large room with two double beds. The room was very... more

This hotel was nasty. Homeless people hanging around the parking lot Bad odor throughout the hotel face plates missing off electric outlets smoke detector hanging 12" from ceiling appeared to be nonworking nasty stained bed linens with many holes TV remote was broken Hotel on very busy noisy street, hard to sleep. would not go again and cannot recommend. more

I would have to agree with the last couple of reviews. We stayed for 3 nights in mid-september. The hotel is quite shabby, the lobby is small - we ending up queuing outside waiting to check in. There was an noticable (foisty is the only was I can describe it) smell in the hotel corridor, which luckily wasn't as strong... more

Having looked at the reviews, as we normally do...we booked, arrived and found that the hotel is fairly centrally located but apart from this advantage, I would not return to this hotel. To say it is well used and worn is an understatement. There were 2 chairs on the 2nd floor that were ready for the refuse dump. The rooms... more

My husband and I spent two weeks at Bosman's the last week of July and first week of August this year. We found that the hotel needs a great deal more attention than it is presently receiving. One of the light fixtures in our room didn't work, the A/C unit would only function when it was on full blast, and... more

The fact that it's located downtown near popular attractions doesn't save itself from the horrible conditions my girlfriend and I found when we checked in; When we arrived, there were homeless people sleeping in the parkade, the hotel lobby smelled like someone had dumped a bottle of industrial lemon cleaner on the floor and the elevator lobby was old and... more

Despite some negative reviews, my partner & I booked a 4-day stay. Our room faced the back parking lot, so was quieter, I suppose, than rooms facing the street. Rooms were average--clean, worn, but without bedbugs or other crawlies. Advantages (other than price--Vancouver's hotels are expensive): excellent mid-city location. Of course, like Seattle, Vancouver has a Starbucks on every corner--and... more

I only stayed here for one night but had stayed in the Holiday Inn next door a couple of years previously so knew the area. The Bosmans is a cheap (in terms of price) hotel for downtown vancouver and if you are looking for a place to get your head down for the night that is well located and safe... more
