Stayed here twice overnight within a 3 week period. Enjoyed our stay for the first night so we returned. Reception staff were very helpful, gave us an early check in even after finding out, we'd mistakenly booked for the wrong night. Car hire facility in hotel, proximity to Canucks game and short walk to down, town area were all bonuses. Clean... More

The stay was average nothing too special, the rooms were clean and tidy and it's location is great if you are wanting to go to a Canucks game. I thought the light switches for the bathrooms were awkward but this room did the job for staying the one night. It was not loud considering the amount of people in the... More

April Fri 24 to Mon 28. Check in at 430. Man at desk asks me if I want top floor or bottom, suggests top for view, I agree. Round the corner and the one elevator is out and there is a line up of about 20 people waiting to go up. So I decide to take the stairs and end... More

The location of this hotel is both its biggest positive and biggest negative. Yes, it is close to Rogers Arena and BC Place Stadium for sports and other events. The problem is that many people attending these events are not considerate of their neighbours. Really, the big problem is that soundproofing between the rooms is NOT good. When we first... More

We stayed here for only one night for a cheer competition at the convention center. This was by no means close to our venue although we did walk it. It wasn't a horrible walk but we had a few in our group not up to the long walk. We did figure out we could take the train back though so... More

Doors slamming all night, drunks yelling and talking in halls, front desk staff did not care at all how horrible our stay was. We called 3 times throughout the night, let them know we would never come back. No apologies, 'whatever' sort of attitude. My husband has to work now. I have a major headache. Awful experience.

Stayed one night to attend a Canucks game. Steps from Rogers centre and BC place. Very quick check-in considering how busy it was. Room was clean, nothing fancy, nice view from higher floors. Quiet, comfy beds. Not even a mini fridge for beverages or snacks. Reasonable price for location, but parking was $28 for one night on top of room... More

This is the first choice of hotel for our family when we are coming over for a concert. The hotel is middle of the road, nothing luxurious, but rooms are clean and staff is friendly and efficient. We always feel like this is a "safe" choice when coming over with our teens. The location and reasonable rates are a solid... More

We checked into the Sandman VCC for downtown getaway with our adult daughter, we had booked a one bedroom suite. When we went up to our room we found a nasty little smelly room with a king bed and a hide-abed crammed side by side, the three of us had not slept side by side in 25 years and had... More

My Wife and I stayed here while on business in Vancouver for 4 days. We were impressed with the friendly staff at check in. They provided us lots of information about the hotel and the area. I was worried about my truck fitting in the parking but they had sufficient parking underground for large vehicles. Parking was included in our... More
