Unfriendly check-in, got to room next to elevator and was not serviced back to reception another room allocated but very small, clean very noisy air conditioner, lack of services available at this hotel, however Moxies restaurant has good food and good service, the M Bar waitress quite rude when we asked her to 'speed it up' as we were going... This hotel is in a fantastic location for downtown Vancouver, You can walk to the heart of downtown, and to Rogers Arena if you were going to a venue there. The staff were very friendly at the desk and the rooms were nice and up to date. It has a nice pool and a Moxies on site for dining. However,... More

We recently spent one night at the Sandman Vancouver City Centre. The hotel is ideally situated close to Rogers Arena, BC Place & Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Its a short walk to each venue. Upon arrival, at 4 PM, the line to check in was quite long; However the hotel was just about full due to a lot going on in... More

Great location if you are going to an event at BC Place. We stayed twice in June. Both times the checked in the staff was very friendly. But the 2nd time we checked out the person at the desk, Chris, was not friendly at all. Both stays our air conditioner didn't work well. It was extremely hot in our room.... More

Good central location. Hotel is quite good, rooms are large with two queen size very comfortable beds and everything you could need for a couple of nights stop over, I stayed there after a cruise to Alaska for three days. Rooms were kept clean. I have no negatives regarding the Sandman Hotel apart from the fact that the wall socket... More

We stayed there mid June 2015 (, this is fact) we were placed on the 11th floor after waiting at reception for 30 mins to be served by a sour staff member. Then given directions to lift to find out they only hold a few persons and can take up to 15mins to get to top floor , yes they... More

This hotel is in a good location, many of the sights and shops are within walking distance. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Great cocktails in the hotel bar! Only downside is the room we stayed in was very small, not great for girls with a lot of luggage!

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised at the outstanding service I received from the employees at the check-in counter. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating with smiles on their faces, to boot! The employee who served me took the time to explain where the parking was, how to get to the elevators, and even suggested a... More

Check in was a breeze. Room is clean and comfortable. Location is close to sports venues and plenty of great restaurants. Great sports bar on the main floor but unfortunately it is currently undergoing a remodel. No complaints about this fine hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for the World Cup game and it was a perfect location! The price was better than any other hotel around. It was clean, modern and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the close proximity to ... Everything. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear your neighbors every now and then, but... More
