The hotel is probably not in the best area for tourists - a lot of beggars and people sleeping rough all along Granville Street. They seemed harmless enough, but just not what I expected in Canada. The hotel is clean , everything works, but the view from the windows certainly doesn't impress (see photos). The food and drink in the... More

The location of the hotel is excellent in that it is on the main street called Granville from where you can get to downtown or to other of the tourist sites in Vancouver. It is also near the Gay area of Vancouver if this is something of interest in terms of bars, trendy restaurants, shops and fun cafes. The hotel... More

Rooms were smelly and the outside of building messy and homeless were bedding down at the entrance of the building and vomit all over the sidewalk.

This hotel sits on Granville in the Theatre District. If you don't know what that means here is a brief description.... More

We didn't like the drive to find the hotel. Vancouver is not an easy city to drive in. Traffic, pedestrians, a lot of streets with no names and wether they're one way or not.

The hotel is located between Gastown and the West End; an easy walk in any direction. Parking is all offsite; but you can self-park across the street. The room we had was small, yet comfortable and clean. We did have some difficulty getting the room cool enough to sleep and the small glazed-glass windows only opened about an inch. The... More
