Booked this hotel for one night as I was in town for a conference the next day. Just wanted something walking distance to the conference center and low cost. When I checked in I had to wait about 10 minutes for the one clerk to finish a phone call and it turns out low cost means no hot water. I... More

This hotel is very useful for access to Downtown on a budget, however it looks very tired and tatty - all things that could be resolved by a DIYer in a weekend. The aircon either blows hot or cold, there is no climate control and the units are very noisy.

I was upgraded to a suite which turned out to be very old-fashioned. The location is very good but other elements not so much. I ate breakfast at the restaurant below the hotel. Also very old-fashioned but the worst was the food. I ordered smoked beef hash which was billed as a specialty. I received a plateful of potatoes, cut... More

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. Bathroom had no fan but you could open the window that had no screen. I looked at the light from the hallway coming thru all sides of the door all night, along with hearing footsteps and the bathroom sink and toilet in the next room. There was a blinking red... More

The rooms are good considering how cheap they are, and the motel it's self is in a great location. The staff unfortunately let the side down by being extremely unhelpful and borderline rude with a few things we inquired about. But if don't need help from the staff at all it's a great place.

I stayed here last year (December) and was very impressed with the room. However, this time it was below par! The room was small and dirty. The photos to do accurately depict the rooms. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly and someone else's hair was in the bathtub! Disgusting.

Room was clean but tiny. Our friends room had a Crack pipe left outside the window on the ledge. The parking costs extra and is not suitable for an suv with roof rack as the garage is not tall enough. The parking is a dew minutes drive away !! I would not stay here again. For this price there are... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
