We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in for 5 nights and found little to complain about. This is not a hotel, and contrary to previous reviews, I don't believe it is advertised as such. We booked through the UBC website, and as we had looked at photos etc, knew what to expect - which is why we were pleased... more

As much as they may try, Gage Towers is not and never will be a hotel. The room layout is that of a dormatory, NOT that of a hotel. Gage Towers is a student residence for eight months of the year and a conference attendee residence for the remainder. If you visit, ask (demand) that your bed be made every... more

I've stayed at the Walter Gage Conference Complex twice--once in the South Tower and once in the apartments. The prices were modest both times. The tower was cramped with basic furnishings and little closet space--basic by hotel standards--several individual bedrooms led to a common kitchen and a common bathroom area.
