Basic accommodation, safetyregs need looking at,rotten rails on verandah that holds fire escape! Electrical plugs in multi points dangerous. Mismatched tiles in bathroom and wallpaper missing, whole paint job in house very amateurish. No choice at breakfast ,didn't have any meat content over three days, left early on fourth day and not even offered toast and coffee before our journey..microwave on landing for... More

I stayed in this B&B for 2 nights. The description and pictures of the rooms provided on its website are current and accurate. The Maple Beach B&B is among the trademark painted wooden houses surrounded with matured trees and beautiful exotic flowers, and is in great location within the Kitsilano neighborhood in Vancouver's West Side, along the south shore of... Hard to know where to start with this review. Firstly, the Internet blog is nothing like the real thing. As soon as we arrived we were asked to remove our shoes and a basket of used slippers were supplied to choose from. I do not like to wear other people's shoes and object strongly to being asked to do so... More

I classify this accommodation as a 'pensione'. The location of this establishment is in Kitsilano - very close to the city and in a good location of eateries and tourist sites especially Granville Island. The host was fantastic and would go out of her way to help in any way possible. The rooms were of adequate size annd were cleaned... More

Really kind and friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and cosy tidy room. The location of this B&B is fantastic as well, in the heart of kits, a stone's throw away from the beach. Fantastic food will surround you with easy connections in to downtown. A perfect, peaceful, place to rest up - highly recommended if that's what you're after.

A great place to stay close to buses to go down town and Granville Island which is definately a must to visit is only a fifteen minute walk away-our hosts Patricia and her husband were very friendly and helpful. We always stay in B&B's much better value than impersonal hotels. Thankyou for a very pleasant seven day stay in Vancouver.... More

Parking terrible, room smell old, if you have food allergy no breakfast for you, even though she would have GF breakfast! Really out dated, never bother with up grading the house, not welcoming feeling.

We are seniors who visit young granddaughters living near-by in a small apartment with their parents. Kim and Patricia welcome us into their home, and staying there is a treat. It is a neighbourhood house, of mature vintage as most of those houses. The place is comfortable, the hosts warm and gracious. They even had our granddaughters join us for... More

We had the two suites on the top floor. The twin bed was uncomfortable but the queens were adequate. The bathrooms were small with low ceilings. Only the bigger room had a thermostat and it seemed to control the entire floor. The TVs were small and the one in the smaller room was not working properly. Both rooms did have... More

We stayed at the Patio Suite for 3 nights. Actually we wanted to leave after 1 night but other B&Bs were booked out at that time. The first impression was the patio which was full of fallen leaves& the garden furniture were dirty so we couldn't sit on them. There are 2 bedrooms in the suite& a big bathroom, enough... More
