This B&B is beautiful - it is clear that the owners took every detail into account. The furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. The location is within walking distance to most of the local attractions. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hosts were helpful and accommodating. The only negative is that there wasn't any air conditioning - probably not an... More

Thank you for taking the time out to write a review. Even with one night stay it is nice to know you've been impressed enough to make a few observations. I think I have to agree with you that July was a very warm month for Vancouver - we Vancouverites were delighted about that because our Spring was quite chilly... More

Going to West End Guest House was like heading home. The staff was friendly, funny, helpful and extremely accommodating. Each morning we awoke to what felt like a 3-course fresh breakfast. We had a choice of sweet or savory for each main course (ham-filled crepes, salmon omelet, French toast with berry purée) accompanied by a from scratch baked item, juice,... More

The guest house is beautifully furnished and maintained. We found the location very quiet yet convenient to all the downtown activities. The bikes were fun to borrow to explore Stanley Park. Breakfasts were delicious and there always seemed to be treats to eat during the day or night. Thank you to Ron and Evan for their hospitality. Highly recommended.

We decided on the West End Guest House based on a friend's recommendation, and upon arrival quickly realised that everything they said was true. We stayed twice in just over a week (before and after a trip to Vancouver Island) and experienced all the things that make this place so unique. Firstly Ron and Evan are perfect hosts; friendly, funny... More

Thank you to Evan for a great stay - the rooms are beautiful and the story and history of the house is really interesting - breakfast is delicious and the facilities perfect - we didn't stay long enough to make use of hiring the bikes but this is a great feature. The B&B is brilliantly placed for exploring leafy neighbourhoods,... More

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights so we could see a little of Vancouver before leaving Canada having been skiing. We called ahead to say we might be late due to our long journey back from Revelstoke. It wasn't a problem at all, we were given the code for the door in case they had... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights 3 days over a long weekend in 2014. We loved the place from the beginning as it has a warm welcoming feel and great curb appeal. Both owners of the B&B were excellent hosts and we looked forward to the group dining every morning for breakfast. A special moment was on... More

This B&B has a wonderful history (you can read about it in their book that's in each room), as well as wonderful, professional hosts. The room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfasts were exceptional. Bikes are available at the B&B to ride around Stanley Park, which we enjoyed. Many great restaurants are within walking distance and the neighborhood is quiet... More

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the West End Guest House and enjoyed our stay very much. Evan, Ron and the entire staff couldn't have been nicer and were very helpful, giving us several ideas for our visit to Vancouver. The house itself is lovely. It is over 100 years old. The common areas give you the... More

This is our second time at this B&B in Vancouver. Evan and Ron are the perfect hosts: professionals and welcoming. They make you feel at home. The rooms are nicely decorated and functional. Our room had a freshly renovated bathroom with heated floor and a huge shower. The breakfast is hearty and prepared with fantasy and quality products. But the... More
