Spent 4 days at the Rosedale in August 2014. Delighted to have been upgraded to a suite and then given an enormous basket of fruit and bottle of wine on our anniversary - such a kind gesture and very much appreciated. Very comfortable room with exceptionally well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed and decent bathroom. A little dated but very clean. Great... More

Thank you for your review. As for the odor, we are having some issues with one of the restaurants in the complex which involves their handling of organic waste particularly in hot weather. We have added scent to our lobby but unfortunately this may not cover as well as hoped. We are working with the restaurant in question to solve... More

So, the first thing you will notice when you walk in to the lobby is the overwhelming sauerkraut smell. It isn't pleasant. But, your front desk experience will be an absolute pleasure. Quick, efficient and polite staff. The elevators are slow, but there are 3 of them, so you don't wait too long for an empty one. The rooms are... More

Great location. Room was fresh, new and well equipped. Bed was king size and was most comfortable. Small niggle - wifi is week and is usable for one device only per room. Management is letting themselves down by being so restrictive is an otherwise great place.

We stayed here for 5 nights and this hotel proved to be in a good location for exploring the city. The suite was very nice and although needed updating was spotless. The beds were comfortable and as we were suffering a little from jet lag we also found the sitting area to be nice. The kitchen area was small but... More

Stayed there in August for 6 nights in a spacious room with lounge area and kitchenette, great views of the city, good continental breakfast, central location just off Robson Street. Service was prompt and staff were helpful. I would prefer milk to coffee mate for the complimentary tea and coffee and sometimes there was quite a wait for the lifts,also... More

Stayed there in July. Great location downtown. Near enough everything. Parking garage was cramped & elevators took way too long. So, you had to haul luggage all the way up ramp. 2 elevators broke down which resulted in 20-30 min wait! Not a single front desk person apologized for inconvenience! Efficiency rooms were threadbare & beds, linens were terrible. Even... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. With regard to the elevator situation, we do apologize for the inconvenience. Upon investigation with a Vice President of the elevator service company, it appears that one of their personnel decided to ignore the terms of our contract in that service must be done in a timely manner and at... The rooms are of an excellent size with a lounge area.leading to a short corridor with bathroom on one side and kitchen on the other. Complimentary tea and coffee is offered although the tea is a token as there is no milk etc, the coffee maker is typical of what you'd expect, You then have a good sized bedroom with... More

Comfortable, clean, roos spacious and well equiped (we had a suite incl. bedroom, living room, small kitchen and bathroom), quiet, well located, helpful staff,... All very good, no major drawback. And I would add that this is perfect for families with young children as you can can cook your own meals and avoid the hassle of going to restaurants in... More

Our three weeks in Canada ended here and it was just fine. The bed was incredibly comfortable and whilst the living space was not large as others have said in their reviews, you don't visit a city like Vancouver and sit in your hotel all day surely? I am surprised at some of the comments about staff not caring or... More

After arriving we were told our room would not be ready until 4pm the only time we experienced this while travelling during our holiday. The rooms were clean & comfortable. Having the living area on entry to the suite does mean you cannot hear any 'hallway' noise however it does mean the sitting area is dark & not relaxing to... More
