We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in the middle of June. As the title states, the best thing about this property was the location near English Bay, Stanley park and within walking distance to Robson Street. Considering the location, the price was reasonable and parking was included. (The parking spots were tight though). There is no elevator, however... More

Stayed here for two nights for a family gathering. Our rooms were suites with separate bedroom, living and kitchen areas. Nothing fancy, but serviceable and clean. Full kitchen, very small bathroom. Decor is decidedly dated. Note - NO elevator. There are four or five floors, so plan accordingly. Free wireless but a very slow connection. Manager and front desk staff... More

our stay at the Oceanside was wonderful. It is decent, clean, homely and a friendly hotel located near beach, park , bicycle rentals, restaurants, hop on hop off buses etc. It is well priced for the spacious suites and also offer free parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We were staying in Vancouver for a couple of days after we got off a cruise ship and choose this one based on its closeness to Stanley Park. We showed up at 9am and they held onto our bags while we spent the day walking in the park. When we returned our room was ready. Regardless of the fact that... More

The front desk staff was welcoming. Next morning after a good nights sleep there was some noise from the workmen who were replacing the old windows with new ones. After enjoying our day at the beach, the park and Granville island, we returned to the hotel and were happy to see new large windows with screens in our suite. At... More

We had a lovely stay at the Oceanside Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. We so appreciated all the help they gave us in planning our daily outings. Our rooms were great, roomy, clean and comfortable. The location was exceptional near the beach, stanley park and plenty of restaurants. If we are ever in Vancouver again, we would definitely... Thanks. Sam, for a wonderful stay in May!!! Far too short, but as we told you, we will be back, next time with our boys! What a great location this hotel has! So close to Stanley Park, the beach, tons of restaurants and shops and the Hop On and Off Trolley Tour. The apartment units are dated, but clean and... More

It is confusing to me to read other fellow reviewers about this place. My girlfriend and I despised it enough to leave 30-minutes after we got there. We had already paid because we booked online but I was willing to take the "hit" to get out of there. The "free" parking was fit for 4-Smart cars, the windows had no... More

We are sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience. We don't have an explanation for your concern about parking as we have a combination of private indoor and outdoor stalls and all registered guests are guaranteed a spot for their vehicle. We do our best to place guests on the ground or second floor if stairs are... More

Our stay at this hotel was very comfotable. The suite was very spacious and clean, beds were good and the staff was wonderful. They looked after us very well and provided all the information we needed about the tourist attractions. They did not charge for parking. Location was perfect for us. We did not use our car at all because... More

This "hotel?" is basically a 60's apartment with a Hotel sign put on the lawn. Upon entering the room, the musty smell was overwhelming. The beds were uninviting and the bathroom had dirt on walls and in corners. One of the windows wouldn't close so besides a chilly room, we listened to the locals until 3:30 in the morning. We...
