Great location with easy walking to shops, sights and the waterfront and there was a free taxi shuttle into town if you preferred, although we were denied it one morning as they had no availability when we asked quite late the evening beforehand. The previous reviewer is spot on about breakfast - chaotic, cramped and really quite unpleasant. We tried... More

The hotel photos make the hotel look slightly better than it actually seemed to us. It was getting just a little tired, worn and not absolutely the cleanest (although you can ignore this if you don't have to search for small boys' lost toys behind furniture and beds). We could have done with cloths/ washing up liquid etc. We weren't... More

We stayed in a suite in May while in Vancouver for the U2 concert. There is a full kitchen though very poorly stocked and when we requested a frying pan and flipper they were not brought up until much, much later. The two full bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The elevators were very slow and at times only one... More

Our family of 5 stayed for 4 nights at the start of our PNW vacation. I would give it 3.5 if that was an option. Pros: We loved the location and we thought it was very quiet for the middle of the city. The extra space for our family was perfect and we enjoyed the space to spread out. We... More

Comfort is very average. Very close to the hospital so you hear a lot of sirens even on the 16th floor. Room has a full kitchen which is great. Staff is friendly. We didn't use the hop on hop of but there is a stop right in front of the hotel. It needs to be upgraded badly. It shares a... More

Vancouver is a great city to visit. The Landis is a traditional hotel located in the right location to be able to walk to many interesting parts of the city. We stayed in the spacious 2 bedroom apartment (1 very big double and 1 smaller size double bed) which has 2 bathrooms and a kitchen, ideal for a family of... More

This hotel is in a good location to get to all of the places that we wanted to visited. We liked that the spaciousness of the suite. We found it to be very clean. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and fitness room. The breakfast was ok, everyday the same though. Some protein would be a nice addition ie. cold... More

So far the Landis has not been a good experience for us. My wife waited several minutes before the desk clerk showed up to check her in. The place seemed abandoned, and when the desk clerk finally arrived he was quite rude and unhelpful. The swimming pool appears to be unsanitary. There is a ring of dirty scum going around... More

A good sized apartment however it is very dated and living room furniture needs replacing. The lounge was uncomfortable. Beds were fine. The hotel has a feel that it needs to be thoroughly cleaned top to bottom. Breakfast room not set out well and has dirty table cloths and unhygienic cleaning practices in place eg I watched the waiter use... More

After reading previous reviews was not sure of what to expect but have been pleasantly surprised the Landis suites have been superb. We had 2 bed suite and found it very spacious for a downtown hotel, the glassed dining area was a lovely place to sit and watch life in a busy city. The beds were large and comfortable, plenty...
