Stayed 1 week on 20th floor, great view of the city. Room service, front desk, lifts etc all first class. Great value too. Location is ideal for downtown, Stanley Park and the harbour. Restaurant enjoys best views of Vancouver but is in need of a revamp. We wil stay there again. more

Loved Vancouver (first time visitor) in part because I truly enjoyed the hotel. After perusing the reviews was a bit apprehensive, but had a very positive experience. All my dealings with the front desk were excellent. My room on the 20th floor had a harbour view. Room service was very prompt. No problems at all. The best is the location... more

A friend and I came to Vancouver for business and pleasure and had to make two seperate bookings at the Empire Landmark since four days in our ten day stay were to be spent in Victoria. We booked using hotels.ca and received a rate of $150 a night. Our first stay in the hotel was good. We ended up taking... more

I like Robson street alot and I thought that it would be very nice to stay there. The location is good. I didn't get a nice view but it was fine. But, it seems something was missing. It was old and it was cold too. We got extra blanket first time and moved to a different room. The swimming pool... more

The Empire Landmark is one of my favorite places to stay in Vancouver however be prepared for inconsistant service and tired facilities. Pros: Fantastic location, on Robson street, shopping, dining and downtown all within blocks. Short walk to Stanley Park and Denman Street attractions too. Most of the upper floor rooms have superb views and lanais. Cloud Room on 42nd... more

The location of the Empire Landmark is very good, just at the NW end of the shopping.dining area on Robson St. The lobby is also nicely decorated, though one can tell it is an old building from the exterior when you are driving up. It would be generous to call my room 3 stars. Cheap office furnishings masquerading as "modern,"... more

We stayed for 2 nights in September. A good location and within walking distance of Stanley Park, the waterfront and shops & restaurants. The room itself, on the 22nd floor, was OK in size and decor but I was happy that we spent most of our time out of the hotel. We did not eat in as there were numerous restaurants... more

Brilliant location, at the end of one of Vancouver's main shopping streets, it made for a very interesting walk at the end of an evening. Buses stop outside and you can travel very cheaply on them. The room had a wonderful view overlooking the bay and mountains (we were on the 25th floor) and the revolving restaurant on the 42nd... more

Thrilled to find a hotel in downtown Vancouver for less than $100. Unfortunately, so too did the a high school bus trip. Hotel was alright, except the shoe print on the top of the toilet seat. Comfy bedding, awful in-room coffee. One elevator was out of service and the button to the ice machine on the 22nd floor also didn't... more

I was somewhat sceptical about booking this room looking at tripadvisor but couldn't have been happier. Jock at the front desk was superb and we got a deluxe room on the 34th floor. The room was a very good size and was clean and comfortable. The decor was dated but was in good condition. The views were amazing across the... more
