I'm a little perplexed by some of the bad reviews as we had an excellent experience at this hotel, good service and clean and tidy. Exactly what you'd expect from a holiday inn. more

We booked this hotel over the one in town (Hotel & Suites) because Intercontinental Hotel's website says this one is highly commendable (by who I wonder?!). The hotel is old, the reception staff is condescending, the room very small, the toilet bowl choked....there is no end to it. Even though we are 'Royal Embassador' member, so what? We took up... more

We appreciate this reviewer's willingness to share her feedbacks. While we are sorry for not being able to provide him/her with an experience that meets his/her complete satisfaction, we would like to address a few aspects that might have been perhaps miscommunicated between all parties involved: -Our commendable status is generated by a guest service index that surveys hundreds of...

Our family of 4 stayed one night using the "Park and Cruise" option. We parked the car in their lot for the 7 days of our cruise. The hotel has a nice pool, but the location is somewhat noisy. We had a fairly large room, but it badly needed updating and the carpet was stained. The ice machine in the... more

I wouldn't have found canadian dollars 90 so valuable in hotel accommodation in the western cities. An excellent location if you want quiet, peaceful and well appointed neighbourhood while the hustle and bustle vibrant city stampede is only across the bridge, within your sight. I stayed on the 12th floor, with a partial view of the sparkling cityline, but that... more

Very friendly service with clean, comfortable & quiet rooms. Breakfast at the restaurant was good with speedy service. Baggage storage available and you can use print your airline boarding pass for free on the computers in the lobby. Would definitely stay again. more

The executive suite was TINEY!!! Apparently though, paying $20 extra a night doesn’t get you a bigger room it gets you ONE pair of crappy dollar store slippers, the use of ONE scratchy robe and getting to be on the 'seventh floor' which apparently is a 'big deal' because the word executive is written next to the elevator button.. The... more

We believe that this review does not belong to us because the following facts do not comply with the reviewer 's observations: 1.) Our Executive floor is on the 16th floor, not the 7th floor. 2.)We do not have the word "executive" written next to the elevator button. 3.)Our pool is heated. 4.)Our Executive floor rates come with breakfast. 5.)We...

Me and my family stayed at the hotel and it was a very nice stay. The hotel is really close to downtown and Granville Island. If you want to bus around Vancouver there are bus stations right at the hotel. If you want to go shopping the closest mall is Pacific Center, which was a very good mall. The front... more

This is the third time this year that we have stayed at this hotel. Granted it may need some updating but it was very, very clean, friendly and a spectacular view of downtown! The bed and pillows were very comfortable and although there was no wireless service the high speed internet was all you would need and there was a... more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Centre for two nights over a weekend in July. To say it upfront...I was perfectly happy with the experience. But other travellers should keep in mind, despite this being the Holiday Inn Centre, it is not located in Downtown Vancouver. It is south of Downtown on the other side of False Creek, with a... more

My daughter and I just recently stayed at the hotel. March 18th to 19th. I booked the executive suite for an extra $40 and it was nice. The fluffy down comforter and pillows were so wonderful to sleep on! And there was a pillow order form for those that had a preference for pillow firmness. The decor was of course... more
